A Butterfly Easel from Gina

Good Morning Ladies,

We arrived in good time yesterday afternoon after a leisurely drive from Millau, we had plenty of stops as it was really warm and we were drinking lots of water. I am taking every precaution for my bladder, I will say that 'Mother Nature' was exceptionally generous this month, 😉🙄 which also added to the need for frequent stops!

The Reps that greeted us are extremely lovely,  he kept referring to us as VIP's because we have been coming here so many years.  He asked when the girls were coming out, then he saw our Cafetiere,  he said you really do come prepared,  I told him that it was a compromise as we couldn't fit coffee maker in and girls were coffee addicts,  we said goodbye and got to unpacking,  5 mins later he appeared with a coffee machine, he said 'we keep a couple for Vip's"  he even bought some coffee, asked if we needed tea or anything else. So thoughtful and so kind.

As I am writing this Paul has gone to pick up a roast chicken from the restaurant which we will have with some salad and fresh bread.  Then we will have an early night.

Today's card is one of Our Gina's,

Gina's Description:

This card is made using a heartfelt creation butterfly stamp and die i bought some years ago but love the set usually make an easel card with it.

Such a lovely card Gina, great idea creating an Easel card with it.  The colours you have used work really well too.  Thank you so much for sharing it with us XXX

I hope that you all have a good Thursday,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

  1. Your card is beautiful Gina I’m another one that loves old sets of dies 🤣
So glad you have arrived safely and what a lovely greeting from the rep Sometimes it pays to stick with who/what we know (same can be said about certain craft products 🤣)
It is pouring down with rain So our original plans have been scuppered - a visit to a created beach park complete with pedalo boats!
    Take care everyone xx

Glad you and Paul arrived safely, and had such a lovely warm welcome from the Reps ☺️ I hope you’re both having a relaxing day today 🥰
Karen, such a shame the weather has ruined your plans for the day! Typical British Summer weather 🙁 I hope you’ve managed to find something else to do.
Hope everyone is having a good day
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  3. Hello Sandra and everyone,
Gina your butterfly card is beautiful and would be displayed in a very prominent place by the recipient for all to see. Thank you so sharing. xx
Sandra what a lovely VIP welcome you received from the rep. The coffee maker is a real bonus. Hope you are both feeling rested and managed to sleep well last night.
Karen shame the weather ruined your day out, after all the lovely weather we have had recently it now feels like winter. I have been wearing a heavy cardigan to keep warm. Let’s hope it improves for the bank holiday weekend. 🤞
Sleep well everyone, love Brenda xxx

  4. Hi Sandra and all looking in.
I’m glad you arrived safely and had a great welcome. I was only saying on Friday that your name would have a long service notice attached to it 🤭Now you can just relax for a few days doing exactly what you both want. You both deserve it my lovely xx
Gina, what a beautiful card, using the butterfly as the card is such a lovely idea xx
Another long day with Pop. He is so much slower doing everything and has to stop and rest often since his heart attack so it all takes much longer whatever we are doing, bless him.
Sleep well everyone. Take care. Love Sue xx
