New Acetate Front Card featuring Brand new Die

My Inlovearts YouTube Video

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, I had a very productive day yesterday finishing all the projects for the DT dies that were sent from Inloveartshop.com. Which meant I was able to make the video sharing all of the projects, I will leave the link for the video so that you can go over and have a look.   I will be sharing all of the projects on the blog in the coming week.

Todays card was made using their 'Snowflake Frame Dies'  the link for this die is :

Snowflake Frame Die

To make the card I cut a piece of card at 4 1/4  X 6 1/2, I score the card at 1 inch and creased with my bone folder, the 1 inch over hang was where I attached my acetate to, covering the join with the Die Cut Snowflake Border on the front of the card and on the inside (to cover the glue), I added another border at the bottom of the card both on the inside and out again to give the card front strength.
I placed a piece of light blue glitter card on the inside of the card and attached a die cut sentiment that was placed centrally, so that it could be seen through the acetate.
To finish the card I added little crystal gems to the centres of all the snowflakes.

Use the link above if you want the die, it's currently on Sale at £3.38

They have given me a Discount code to share with you all which gives you an extra 15 % off  that code is:  FSVCotswold

Sue came over yesterday, I made us some home made soup, Sue bought a loaf of 'Lardy Bread' to try too, I warmed it in the Aga to have with our afternoon cuppa, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was.  We both got a good bit of crafting done in the afternoon, I was finishing my DT projects while Sue was doing some 'Groovi' cards.
Thanks for coming over Sue, XXX

I hope that you all have a good day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

    Sandra-stunning Card, it’s absolutely gorgeous.

I met my friend last night which was great but the food was disappointing. Only got home around 10:30 which is quite late for me, had to creep around as hubby was alerting bed. He was up about 4:30 this morning to has to be up very early flight from Manchester Airport. & he won’t be home until about 11:30 tonight. Luckily he’s not going far tomorrow.

  4. Hi Sandra & Ladies
Great card today lovely to see it in the making. I did one similar to this a few years ago. I used a punch on a piece of card for the top & bottom of mine. Must remember to take a picture and send it over.
Nice for you that Sue managed to make it over yesterday. We had Lardy cake when Pete’s brother came over from Australia. Mind you we’ve had it since then as we have a Hufkins in Witney who always made it to the original receipe. It’s very fattening Ladies. It’s now made with butter but was originally made with LARD. I’ve bought one elsewhere but they don’t taste as good as the ones made with the original ones but made with butter in my opinion.
Gentle hugs to all who need one today. I hope your feeling a bit better Maria & Lynda.

  7. Hi Ladies,
sorry being so late but the day just flew by and I have watched your video Sandra and so many wonderful things made with your new dies and the card today is beautiful.
Thanks Pat and Brenda, I did used a damp cloth especially for glass so now I hopefully won't have to dust again tomorrow Lol
Had a cough attack during the night so ended upon the sofa for some hours but it was no good and cold I got as well but during the day thankfully it seem to be getting better. Had dentist first thing and then we went and looked for new mattress , not a easy job, have been looking for some time now but in the end we managed to find the right mattress and also a ottoman ( you lift the whole mattress thing up in the air and then can fill the box underneath to your heart content Lol) so divan with 4 draws is going on the skip and the memory foam mattress we had from Casper is going back for I never had a good night sleep with that one.
I hope you all had a good day and Janet I hope with the heating on ,a blanket around your shoulders and a hot mug of tea that your chill moved on during the day :>)
Lynda- hope you doing ok. Wondered if Terry brought you anything to do while in hospital. Many hugs x
Lilian- thanks, starting to feel more myself ( if that's possible ) hope you doing alright and your hands aren't too painful.
Pat and Sue- it's so nice to have someone to be crafting with. You lucky being so close to Sandra. On Monday I hope to go to a craft session with some ladies here in MK, hoping it will be more in future.
Goodnight everyone, many hugs to you all. Maria xx
