Good Saturday Morning Ladies,
It looks like we are all in for another soaking, one of the headlines on Google was 'One Month's Rain to fall in 30 Hours', I think it is mostly in the North of the Country, I guess we will have to wait and see! I hope that you all manage to stay safe and dry. We had really strong, blustery winds all day yesterday, I was mesmerized by the amount of falling leaves, it was like the most colourful rain storm! I am easily pleased (and distracted)!
First up today is a Gift Box for the Diamond Easel card that I made for a swap the other day, I got a bit carried away with those dimensional flowers and there is no way I could fit that card in an envelope! So I created this box to match the card, using the same Paper Boutique Butterfly papers, I made all of the flowers with the Flower shaping Mold.

My Swap From Elaine Parker
I was lucky enough to receive a lovely parcel in the post on Thursday, inside I found all of the above amazing craft projects.
It was all beautifully hand crafted by a lovely lady called Elaine Parker, she is my Swap Partner over on our Facebook group, the Swap was for a Fun Fold Card, which is the first photo in this group,
Elaine has also made a beautiful Wallet with some beautiful Gift Tags inside, this was placed inside a matching Pouch (2nd Photo).
The Wallet with the Tags in was held together with a lovely Belly Band that had a matching Topper on the front, the papers that Elaine has used are absolutely gorgeous.
There were also 3 adorable Decoupaged Christmas Tags in the parcel, I was absolutely blown away with my lovely swap package. xxx

Michele's Magazine Review
Hi Ladies
Diecutting Essentials has a really lovely set of Dies free this month & it’s not just for Christmas.
.
The photo below shows a couple of ideas using the free gift.
This article shows lots of ideas.
The article below has done great inspiration using the free gift.
Part two!
The feature on Rocker cards looks great & these cards would definitely stand out.
This feature on Bendy cards looks interesting & the cards look quite amazing.
That’s all for this week,
Happy Crafting.
Love Michele
Michele I think I might have to subscribe to this magazine, the features you show for this magazine each month really appeal to me, I know that Sue bought the last one too. I wonder if there are any subscription offers going on? There are so many great features too, 'On The Edge' , 'Rocker' & 'Bendy' card techniques, most magazine have one.
I know it is a little more expensive than some other magazine but you do seem to get a lot for your money.
Thank you so much for a fantastic review my lovely, enjoy the rest of your weekend XXX
Can You Help Michele??
Michele is thinking about buying this die, she is asking if any of you have purchased it, if so what did you think, does it cut well?
Thanks in advance xxx
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra

Lynda-great holiday photos, you look like your having a lovely time.
We have torrential rain here again today. It didn’t stop yesterday & it’s as bad today. I’m off to the hairdressers this morning then we’re ofttimes visit my Father in Law. I’ve been sent an extensive list of instructions for things to do once we arrive at the Nursing Home, I’ve also been asked to state our arrival & departure times!! Hopefully by telling my M in L when we’re getting there means we won’t accidentally bump into each other so no more getting told off!!!!
I’m off to look for a boat & my wet weather gear.
Michele
Beautiful box SANDRA What do you use as a template to create your box Is it a die or Crafters Companion board or what I am not very successful at making boxes I use a Hougie board BUT I am never sure which/where side of the score lines to cut out the tabs

Good morning Sandra and ladies
ReplyDeleteWe had a love holiday but it went so quickly. The journey was very hard on my leg's and feet. Being the leg room on both the plane and the coach with little leg room. Getting on the plane I had special assistant with a lift taking us all
To the plane & same on out return
Our hotel was lovely & the food excellent so much choice. We had a room on ground floor I had a walk in shower with a seat. I give 5 *. The only down side was entertainmentment was very poor.
SANDRA Thank you for showing my pictures I hate having my pictures taken. Your box is gorgeous for your fabulous card.
Thank you so much MICHELE for your magazines REVIEW.

Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteSandra your swap from Elaine is lovely, you must have felt so excited when you received this package.
Thank you Michele for your magazine review. I received my copy earlier this week, it is my favourite card making magazine. I have had a subscription going for about 5 months now, SANDRA I recommend this magazine 100% I have not been disappointed with any of the copies I have bought. I usually pass my magazines on to my sister I haven’t been able to let go with any of my Die Cutting Essentials, they are full of inspiration and the free dies have been brilliant.
LYNDA thank you for sharing your holiday photos, they are lovely, you and Terry look so relaxed. I hope you both feel better after your holiday in the sun.
Im sorry I haven’t completed my CC I was on a roll today .... then life got in the way and I lost the plot and time I needed to complete it.
I’m just going to watch Casualty my favourite Saturday evening program.
