Good Morning Ladies,
We're Home!! I was so looking forward to sleeping on our own mattress, with our own pillows, sleeping on naff pillows made us appreciate how amazing our memory foam pillow is!
I am looking forward to not getting in the car today, although I do have a blood test this afternoon, I can't remember what for though!! I will be giving the surgery a piece of my mind while I am there though!
Today's card was a card I made to use up some of my background stash, I can't remember what the background is made from, it looks like Pixie Powders or Brusho's . I simply die cut the Tim Holtz Meadow background die out of black card and added it to the background and added a sentiment.

Hi Sandra and all looking in. What a pretty card. I love the delicate shades against the silhouette of that lovely die cut. Is it a background you used when playing with the fine tip bottle and Brushos? Whatever I love it all. I hope you got a good nights sleep back in your own bed. Pillows and your own kettle are two things I miss the most when away. Good luck this afternoon!!!
ReplyDeleteI dropped two of my die storage boxes yesterday while looking for something. Yes they both opened and yes the contents of both went everywhere! I’m not sure if I have found them all? I’ve got a note stuck on the hoover reminding us that we need to be careful when using it. Does anyone take a photo of each of their dies so you have a visual record? Another thing I wish I had done but will do from now on.

Waiting to hear from mum when dad had his operation. Brenda, it is his second or third one he has put in over the years. Still waiting tho for the brain scans results.
We have gone down to Bournemouth for a few days. After two busy weekends and sister in law between we felt we needed a break. Just wished my teeths weren't so sore, the antibiotics have done nothing.

ReplyDeleteLovely card Sandra the background is brilliant and complement by these silhouette dies. These dies are so versatile, a great addition to our die stash. They can be used as you have done - in black also I have cut mine out in white and coloured them, as I said so versatile.
I hope today hasn’t been too stressful and the blood test went well. You must be wondering what to do first at home, unpacking from your holiday and packing ready for the move. Wish we were closer and could lend a hand. Don’t go doing to much and exhausting yourself. xxx
