A lovely Snow Globe Card

Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,

Well what a day yesterday was,  I had so many things buzzing around my head, jobs to do, things to organise, I literally didn't know where to start!

Lucy and I went to do some food shopping and by the time we were done it was time for my blood test (which was for Liver Function).  I let it be known that my ongoing UTi had caused the first two weeks of our holiday to be miserable!

Today's card is an amazing Christmas card made by Sue, using a lovely Snow Globe.  If you don't have a snow globe die check out the magazines this month, Diecutting Essentials has a  snow globe die as its gift.

Sue's Description:

Another. Christmas card today. The snow globe shape is one of my favourites as you can keep it flat for cheaper posting or build it up with foam tape to add lots of depth in a shaker card style.

Such a lovely card Sue, love your Snowman that you have coloured beautifully.  That background is perfect too. XXX

I hope that you all have a lovely day,

Love and hugs to all of you

Sandra                                                                   xxxxxx

  1. Hi everyone
Love the card Sue, the snow globe is lovely 😊
Sandra, I can imagine all you’ve got to do, but take it easy and try not to do too much yourself 🥰
There was quite a chill in the air this morning and although we had a little sunshine it’s remained cloudy and grey most of the day. Feels like Autumn is definitely on the way now.
Hope you are all having a good day whatever you’re doing
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  2. Hi Sandra and all looking in. I hope you have felt up to doing some of the things to do on one or two of your lists. I know you are like what I used to be like and have various lists around the house. My lot always used to tease me before holidays etc with jokes about me needing to have a list of my lists! I hope to be able to help you with some packing tomorrow my lovely xx
W have had a wasted day so far trying sort out some problems that are absolutely nothing to do with us. It is a beautiful sunny hot day here so I have got the washing out on the line thank goodness. Todays card is a simple one, I did realise I messed up the “snow” at the bottom of the globe. I used the wrong bottle so all you see is a layer of glitter glue rather than the puffy stuff snow I meant to use! I am definitely making some more of these this year as the snowman stamp is super easy to colour and fussy cut. It comes from a set that I bought years ago from C & C in a mid year sale. There are four sheets of all sorts of Christmas stamps and I have to say that they are one of the sets I turn to each year as they are all lovely. They are the only thing I have ever and no doubt will ever like by Dawn Bibby! A little bit of snowy acetate, some of my favourite navy blue card from Limetree, a die cut sentiment & snow globe with some glitter, faux snow, sequins etc and foam tape/pads if you are making a shaker card. I usually stamp several snowmen at a time then sit and colour them while watching a film in the evening. If anyone would like some die cuts of the snow globe bits or stamped snowmen please let me know and I will happily send some to you. Sending hugs. Take care. Love Sue xx

  3. Hello Sandra and everyone,
Love your Snow Globe card Sue, your Snowman looks a really happy little fellow, I’m sure he will put a smile on the recipient’s face. xx
Sandra I hope you are not pushing yourself too hard, everything will fall into place soon, keep taking deep breaths and try to keep calm you don’t want to make yourself ill. I’m sure the family will rally around and help with the house move.
I’ve had a frustrating day it started well, then the post arrived I had ordered a couple of die sets and some card. The package arrived it was split across the top and one die set is missing, I took photos and sent and email to the company, they were very good and going to replace the missing item. Soon after that was sorted I became very hot, felt nauseous and had tummy aches. I’ll spare you the next episode but ended up in bed until early evening. I am having an Upper GI Endoscopy on Saturday so might get some answers at some point. Hope your day has been good.
Take care and stay safe, love Brenda xxx
