My 'Sewing' themed Thrinchie

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all rested after the weekend, oh it was certainly a chilly one!  We had a lazy day yesterday,  a few jobs round house, Paul went into garden,  I went into my craft room.  I was exhausted after the excitement of Saturday.

Today I am sharing my 'Sewing' themed Thrinchie that I made yesterday afternoon, I really enjoyed making this one,  although all those splatters made a fair mess of my desk I can tell you!  I used Tracy Evans Sewing Forever #396 to create this one, I enjoyed the colouring, I will say that the Bristol Smooth card makes such a difference to blending the Ecoline pens, so it's worth investing in some if you have Ecoline pens.  I like how bright and vibrant this one is.

I hope that you all have a marvelous Monday,

Love & Hugs to all of you,

Sandra                                                                                  xxxxxx

  1. Your “Sewing” Thrinchie is far nicer than mine and thanks for the tip re using Bristol smooth for the Ecoline pens
We didn’t go to the zoo in the end I had a phone call from my aunt to say that another aunt passed away on Saturday Plus I’m anxious re visiting my dad in Wednesday- long long story So I wouldn’t have been very good company anyway
I ended up sleeping for most of the afternoon I wish I could fall asleep that easily at night these days

  2. Hi everyone
Love your sewing Thrinchie, it’s fabulous 😊
I really struggled with a journal page at the end of last week, so much so that I decided to downsize to a smaller piece and literally just picked one colour and a few stamps and had a play! It’s not all Tracey Hey’s products but I’m really happy with how it’s turned out. As for the larger original piece, I’m sure I’ll be able to do something with that eventually. Perhaps I’ll try some Thrinchies too 😊
Karen, sorry to hear about your Aunt. I hope your visit with your Dad goes ok xx
Brenda, glad you had a lovely time celebrating Grandson’s birthday xx
    Have a good day everyone.
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  3. Hi everyone
Fabulous thrinchie, love how you can get so much on such a small area and it looks so good.
I must try some when we are back from our short break to Vienna later this week.
Very sorry to hear about your aunt Karen. Extra hugs for you today.
Brenda, glad you had a nice time celebrating your grandson's 21. How quick they are growing up.
Janet, hope you are alright and feeling better for each day. Take care.
Had so many things to do today but the body said No, so now have to run the hover quickly in the morning for SIL and her husband coming up and we are going to Frost for lunch. Have a card I must have done by Thursday so I can take it with me.
Hope you had a good day everyone, many hugs to you all. Hoping some more people could visit us here in the café, old as new are very warm welcome. Hope to see you. xxx

  4. Hi Sandra and all looking in tonight.
I love this Thrinchie. That is a “proper” red isn’t it. Thanks for the recommendation of the Bristol smooth card. There are so many types of craft goodies on the market making it hard to choose so any personal recommendations are so helpful, and money saving so thank you for letting us know of the Bristol smooth card. I hope you are doing ok my lovely xx
Karen, sorry that with one thing and another that life is not being very kind to you at the moment. Sending you gentle hugs xx
Maria, I hope you are feeling up to lunch out tomorrow with the relatives xx
Sonia, glad you ended up with a piece you are pleased with. I bet the larger one is lovely too though. We are so critical of our own work aren’t we xx
I hope you all are staying warm. The wind is really biting around here. A lovely day as we have had family here so lots of cups of tea, laughter and chatting.
Sending love and hugs to you all. Take care xx

  5. Hello Sandra and ladies,
Brilliant Thrinchie Sandra, the theme is perfect for anyone who enjoys sewing. Pleased you gave yourself timeout yesterday to recharge your batteries.
Had INR blood test this morning, came home and made some Broccoli and Stilton soup for lunch and the rest of the day has been spent reading and relaxing. That my day gone - oh I did make dinner this evening!
Hope everyone has had a good day, Hugs Brenda xxx

  6. Hello, this my second attempt at posting.
I lost yesterday’s, so just wanted to say loved all the cards.

Sandra your card today is so unusual, lovely colouring, couldn’t find my Bristol card so have ordered some more. Can’t get on with pink pig super smooth card, just can’t get the blend how I like it. I use hot press water colour card which is good, only trouble is it’s not very white.

Off to bed now, don’t suppose it will be long before I’m down again.
    Goodnight all Lilian
