A Christmas Sketch card

Good Wednesday Morning Ladies

Oh wasn't it lovely to have another day of lovely sunshine.  Lucy wanted to go out for the day, so that's what we did,  we went to a few different shops, not sure where the day went though, we set off mid morning and didn't get home until after 4pm.  Let me tell you I was exhausted,  but we had a lovely day together,  which is worth the pain.

When I got home I remembered I had nothing for todays blog, so I sat down at my desk and created this Christine card, I used Anna Marie Designs Christmas Jingle papers, the circle die is Bubble Circles from Memory Box.  The little Christmas Sentiment is an Anna Marie Designs wooden sentiment, I edged it with a bit of green ink.  I fussy cut some poinsettias to embellish and added some pretty pearls.

I hope that you all have a lovely day,

Love & Hugs,

Sandra xxx

  2. A beautiful take on this week’s challenge
As you know I went quite literal with my make for this week
Having days out are so precious and like you said “worth the pain”
The builders are going to make a start today on moving a wall to create space in the huge walk in cupboard to create an en-suite in the back bedroom I will need to take photos to show Oscar that “his” room is changing a little - same bed same furniture but in a different place
Having nails done later and then plain a bowls match this afternoon
Sorry to read that you have had to have a procedure Brenda I hope you’re on the mend
    Take care everyone xx

  3. Hello Sandra and everyone,
Lovely card Sandra, even though you put it together quite quickly no one would ever guess, it oozes style - you are so talented.
Thank you for your lovely thoughts and wishes, without going into detail

    1. Not sure what I did wrong but my comment decided to publish on its own!
As I was saying the procedure that was performed has decided to undo itself!!! So now I’m trying not to lift anything or strain myself. So need to see doctor and find out what the next step is. I did say I wasn’t keen on having surgery as it would mean I would have to have an anaesthetic.
Sandra your day out with Lucy sounds great, you are blessed having such a lovely caring family.
Must get a move on and start dinner. Will keep it simple though, maybe pasta and bacon with a sauce.
Have a lovely evening everyone. Love Brenda xxx

    2. Oh that’s odd, the first part of my comment looked as though it had published on its own, when I pressed publish for the above comment it had disappeared. I guess it’s me letting technology confuse me…. Not difficult!! XXX

  4. Hi Sandra and all looking in today. Thinking of you my lovely. A Gorgeous Christmas card. I had to smile as if you could see my desk you would too as it is covered with all things Christmas. I have been trying to decide what to use on my challenge card. I was struggling to think of how to use my other stash but could see a Christmas card so that’s where I got to earlier xx
Brenda, sorry to hear you are back to square one by the sound of it. I hope docs are able to offer you more help xx
Karen, I can only imagine how Oscar reacts to changes but I know our Chris jnr used to be so stressed out if things changed. He is a lot better now as long as he is told what is going to happen. I bet Charlie will just bounce in look around then head for the toy box or biscuit tin. Ours and all siblings offspring did that at grand parents. I remember knowing there would be two sugar cubes in my Grans(mums mum) biscuit tin that were for me and my brother. I talked about it to Gran as an adult and she said that you used to put a sugar cube in with your biscuits to stop them getting soggy. She stopped doing it as we grew up but I cried lots of happy tears when RJ was old enough to eat biscuits and he opened her biscuit tin and there was a sugar cube in it for him and then two more as we had Tim and Gem. Wonderful memories 🥰🥰
I hope you all have s as good evening. Take care. Love Sue xx
