Your Circle Challenge cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

It was a rather miserable day here yesterday,  it rained 🌧 pretty much the whole day, we didn't end up going anywhere or doing anything. We sorted out some paperwork bits and pieces in case we do end up going to Spain,  there were little bits of information that were completely new to us, we knew that we wouldn't have the use of the EH1C card since Brexit but there is a new obe called GH1C which stands for Global Health Insurance card, so we did the application for those, you also require a sticker for your car for Air pollution in some of the larger cities,  so we applied for that too we probably don't need it because we stick to a ring road around Paris but last time we ended up being diverted into the City so we were glad we had it, it costs about £3.60 posted but if you didn't have it and got stopped the fines are over €100, so it's worth the small investment.   We also needed to buy a First Aid kit etc for the new car, all little tasks but they ended taking most of the afternoon.
Maybe we will do something more exciting today?!

Now lets see what you have all made for Lynda's Circle Challenge......

Karen

Karen's Description:

Here are 2 cc The first is direct to paper Speckled egg and Cracked pistachio DO following a Tracy Evan technique I stamped bottle lids in black Versafine Clair (could have drawn around them with a fine liner) A bit of background stamping and stencilling through an Aall and Create stencil Finished with a Sue W sentiment die.

2nd was totally inspired by Jo Rice using Through the Meadows Aall and create stamp Painted a few of the circles with Tumbled Glass Shaded Lilac and Cracked Pistachio Cut butterfly twice mor snd coloured them with watercolour pencils I double embossed the top layer and mounted them onto some cotton Added a little extra tag from the stamp set

Two amazing Challenge cards Karen,  I love the mixed media grungy look of your first card, it would make a perfect card for men or by simply adding a couple of flowers would make  pretty grunge card too.
Your second card is stunning, you have really cracked the Tracey Evans/Jo Rice style, such incredible works of art, I am truly inspired.  Thank you so much for taking part XXX

Lilian

Lilian's Description:

Hi here is my card for this week.
I used old paper oxide ink
AALL & create stencil
Memory box die tupelo circle.
Flowers are spellbinders.

Lilian that wreath is so beautiful!!  It works so well with that background that you have designed too. Thank you so much for creating such a lovely card fot Lynda's Circle Challenge XXX

Michele

Michele's Description:

4 challenge cards from me-first card is using nesting circle dies. Second card is an eBay bargain that I’ve never actually used before! Third card is using a Sue wilson slimline dies & a snowflake one. Last card is made using magazine freebies matted on to black card then silver glitter card.

Oh Wow Michele,  4 amazing cards for Lynda's Circle Challenge,  all very different,  most occasions covered too,  I love the variety of circle dies you have used too to give such a range of styles, my favourite is your 4th card, so simple but so very elegant and beautiful.   Thank you so much for taking part. XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

The backing papers are from Prima Marketing. I’ve used the Gummiapan circles die and Tim Holtz butterfly. The stamped sentiments are from Tracey Hey.

Sonia I love that circle die Gummiapan is a brand I forget to look at, they have some amazing dies.  Everything about your cards works together beautifully,  even the background paper works with the theme! I really love those sentiments and I think Karen will too!  Thank you so much for another amazing Challenge card XXX

Maria

Maria's Description:

Love has got three different shaped dies cut from my stash and on the
paper it was some butterflies and hearts that I fussy cut to decorate.

Christmas, I cut a large circle in the card and then stamped the house
and trees in the middle with distress inks.

Happy Birthday, I used a die I got from China with interchangeable  circles.
I put the fallout pieces back in the opposite frames.

Oh Maria thank you so much for making 3 amazing Circle Challenge cards despite feeling so poorly this week.  Your cards are so lovely, your first card is just beautiful and would make a perfect Anniversary card, it looks as though you have the same Circle die as I bought, I love how you have used it, filling the circles in with a contrasting colour is a great idea,  your Christmas card is so beautiful,  I love the pretty scene, it looks as though we are looking through a window, so clever.  Thanks again my lovely,  I hope you feel better today XXX

Janet

Janet's Description:

My first card for this week's Challenge was made using a
stamp from CHOCOLATE BAROQUE which I bought more than a few years ago. It is one of a set of stamps featuring 'Technical Drawings' The backing paper is also from CHOCOLATE BAROQUE.

My second and third cards are made from TONIC DIES.
Unfortunately I have lost the name tags (both dies are stored  in the same folder and in the same sleeve).
The embellishments on both cards are from my stash.

Three lovely Circle Challenge cards from Janet this week and once again I am blown away by how you all manage to create such a variety od styles abd designs for the same Challenge theme.  I have seen a few of the Chocolate Baroque shows but never used her stamps,  they look like they are good quality, your Lily card is lovely that leaf has so much texture, so clever.  A beautiful Tonic card in the lovely combination of purple and silver, the final card is also tonic, it works so well in the monochrome colours
Thank you so much Janet for supporting Lynda's Challenge XXX

Brenda

Brenda's Description:

1 this one is similar to the one you posted the other day where you had cut black and white circles. I saw this one on Pinterest (A great source of inspiration) I used Night of Navy and white card.

Card 2  is a card I created for one of the boys birthdays earlier this year. Very CAS!

Two fantastic challenge cards from Brenda for Lynda's Circle Challenge,  now they say great minds think alike, when I created my first challenge card on Sunday for Monday,  Brenda already had her circles cut out ready to lay out, I have to say I love your design more than my own, your colour combination is great too.  Your second card is a perfect Teenager card, it kind of reminds me of the circles at the end of Bugs Bunny cartoons that had the 'that's all folks' written across it!! That Happy Birthday font works great with that theme too.
Thank you so much for taking part my lovely,  I know you have had a busy week 💗 XXX

Bad back again, so haven’t been able to do anything today. R is away over night for a meeting in Wolverhampton tomorrow, first one since March last year, not all that happy about him mixing, but I know seeing all his mates will do him good.
