Wedding Card TicTacToe Challenge card

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

Here we are ar the start of another week,a very special day today as its Paul's Birthday πŸŽ‚ πŸ₯³.  He is working on lates, we are hopefully going out for dinner this evening, Matt Becca and girls are coming too.  Paul never wants anything for his birthday,  so it's always a bit of a trial trying to come up with ideas.  Hopefully this year he will enjoy his birthday a bit more than last when he spent the day with his head down following his emergency eye surgery!!  Having Paul in my life is a gift I am truly thankful for every day, I would literally do anything to make him happy 😊 😍

Janet what a treasure to find in your Dad's art things, something that you have the pleasure in using in your 'works of art' today.  Do you have any of your Father's Ink drawings ? I would love to see some?. xxx

Lynda  your comment made me feel sad yesterday,  you will always be part of our Blog Family, we all understand why you can't craft just now, there is no hurry ( but i can't wait to share your cards again). Sending huge hugs my lovely friend ❤

Pat  I hope that you managed an hour or so at the Canal, we had a couple of small,  light rain showers but they soon passed.  xxx

Today's card is a Wedding Card that Becca asked me to make for her friends that are getting married this coming weekend,  it has been rescheduled twice, so I bet they can't wait.   I made the cards using the same colours that I used for the 'Save The Date cards' that I made them a couple years ago.
I used two different SU Embossing Folders for the background,  then added a piece of pale lemon lace along the seam. I tied a double bow with the lace too and popped it in the centre and adorned it with same lemon roses as i used on their Save the date cards.  I layered dies SU Detailed Bands dies to hold the sentiment,  adding a touch of Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide to edges to continue with yellow theme and to highlight the ornate die cut. To personalise the card I printed their names and die cut them in little hearts, adding a touch of same ink to highlight. To finish the card I added some tiny diamantΓ©s that I touched with Yellow alcohol marker.
I made a box for that extra special touch, using the same elements to decorate.

The categories used: Embossing Folder/Die cut/ Flowers.

I hope that you all have a lovely day, gentle hugs to those that need one,

Love and Big Squishy Hugs to all,

Sandra

  1. Morning Everyone
What a beautiful card and definitely one that will be treasured forever.

SANDRA- I do have some of Dad's drawints. I'll take some pics and send them to you.

I'm off to have my annual eye test this morning so no doubt I'll be shattered this afternoon.
These days is it's always a 'phaff' as I cannot use the machines where they blow air into the eyes and the other one where they look at into the back.
My neck is now bent so much that I cannot fit onto the rests needed. I also have to have my eyes tested the 'old fashioned way' with a pair of frames on my face because of the same problem. Who ever said 'it is graceful to grow old'. Anyway 'I'm Old Fashioned' so all fits.lol

The CAFE is of course OPEN to all.
HUGS are winging their way to you all with loads and loads of extras for Dear Friends who are not feeling too good.
PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.XXXX
