Your Next Challenge - Lynda's Choice

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

I am so relieved that this week is almost over and I don't really know why, some weeks just whizz by and I can't believe its Friday but this week I really struggled, probably a mixture of pain and no sleep causing me to feel low.  I know that you ladies are only ever a message away and that gives me great comfort, I am so blessed to have so many amazing friends. My only wish is that we all lived on the same street, although I think that none of us would get anything much done, apart from crafting of course.
Nothing planned for us this weekend, which is exactly what we need I think, mind you even when you want a lazy weekend there is always plenty of garden jobs that need doing.
What have you all got planned, are you meeting up with family and friends now that there are no restrictions?

Your Next Challenge
Lynda's Choice

I asked Lynda what she would like to choose for this weeks challenge, I love giving you all the chance to choose a theme.
Lynda suggested that we all use Circles as this weeks theme, now I don't expect you to use simple circles, you can use scalloped circles or any fancy style circle or Wreath style die or stamp.  I think this is a brilliant challenge as it will work for literally any style or occasion card.

Thank you Lynda for choosing this weeks theme.

I am looking forward to this weeks challenge. I am also excited to see what you all create.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend,

Love and HUGE hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  1. What a brilliant challenge LYNDA I’m looking forward to this one Some gorgeous cards for inspiration
I am sat outside and it is lovely- my favourite part of the day Bright sunshine but cool enough to almost need a cardigan! Listening to the birds chattering away and a nice cuppa
OH is looking after Oscar this morning whilst Charlie has a swimming lesson and then they’re coming for lunch Daughter is back to teaching Salsa tonight I’m a little bit nervous but the guy has put as many precautions in place as possible It will probably be a safer place than being in a supermarket!
Other than that not a lot! I hope to start my first CAL (Crochet Along) today I have the yarn and the pattern will be released over the next 6 weeks I am quite excited
Take care Still need to drink plenty of water xxxx

I know we are all experienced in CIRCLES as we all run in them every day and you never know one day we will meet ourselves. SORRY I JUST COULDN'T RESIST.lol.

We have a very dull grey start here today but Oh the humidity is so high.
I don't think I'll be doing a lot of 'swearing' today but some jobs just need doing. The washer is already churning away.

The CAFE is of course OPEN -usual hours.
HUGS are on their way to you all.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

Lynda-what a great idea for our next challenge. I’ve already got a couple of ideas-just need the oomph to get started!

The forecast for rain from tomorrow has changed-not as warm but no rain until Thursday now!

  4. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Lynda thank you for choosing next week’s challenge, it’s a great choice. Must get my thinking cap on xx

Like you Sandra we have nothing planned for the weekend. There have been occasions when I wouldn’t say it out loud because it always went ape. But if anyone turns up they will just have to take us as we are!! To be honest we are in a right mess. The electrician was supposed to come last Wednesday but cancelled as the job he was on was over running. So hopefully he will turn up on Tuesday next, we had cleared the dining area of the room where the fuse board / meter is, I had emptied some of the kitchen cupboards where he needs access, we have ‘Stuff’ everywhere. All because we need a new oven, we have a credit note from John Lewis which will cover mostly cost of the oven, so just the electrician to pay - which is way more than the cost of the oven, but hay ho we can’t take it with us. It was mid June when the gas oven died a death. So hopefully one day soon we will have some sort of order here again.

Enjoy your weekend everyone, take care and stay safe, love Brenda xxx

  5. Hi everyone
Great challenge and lovely inspirational cards 😊
Had a nice cool breeze here today which has made the heat a bit more bearable. Weather forecast not good for the weekend - rain and thunderstorms. I’m working, so not got anything planned anyway.
Hope you all have a good weekend. Sending hugs to you all xxx
