Red & White Christmas Tree

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, hugs on way to those of you feeling under the weather.   I think that most of us could use a hug right now.

I find the easing of the restrictions a bit of a worry, people are complacent enough already.  I saw that London transport are keeping masks compulsory, I think others should do the same, there is no way I could comfortable with people up in my face. I saw on the news that they are expecting a huge surge in August with hospitals being overwhelmed, the pay off being that it won't be in Winter when hospitals are busy with seasonal flu etc.  So maybe we should just hold off on dropping all restrictions,  keep compulsory masks and social distancing!! Sorry rant over!!!  Soap Box is in it's usual place!!

Today's card is super simple but I love it, I was inspired by a card on Pinterest. I used Red Dotty card from Anna Marie Designs,  the Christmas tree is a Sizzix Bigz die, the sentiment is from SU Dashing Deer and the star was die cut from red glitter card.   So like I said super simple,  quite fun design though.

The girls want me to go out with them today, Sophie is getting her car wheels aligned and wants to get some Bikinis as she is going to Centerparcs with Lewis's family next week.  I would love to go but I am going to have to play it by ear!

I hope that all of you have a good day,

Love and hugs to all of you

Sandra                                                                                xxxxxx

Sandra-what a great card. The simplicity of it makes it quite striking, it’s lovely.

I completely agree with ou about the relaxation of lockdown-just with the Government had kept wearing masks indoors compulsory

Another Wednesday I’m going into work instead of working from home! Luckily I’m off tomorrow.

  2. Morning Everyone
Today's card just fits into my 'less is more' file. Simple but very effective.

All went well yesterday for Jim and removal of his first cateract. Just now need to keep him within the rules he has been given for the next few days.Easier said than done.lol

The CAFE is OPEN so pop in for a little quiet time if needed.HUGS are winging their way to you all.

I am in complete agreement re relaxing of all lockdown rules. This household will continue to wear masks when out and about and indoor shopping etc.
PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  3. I love your CAS card SANDRA My favourite style
I am so glad London Transport are keeping wearing masks compulsory I think in any confined in door space they should be
Bearing in mind I work for the NHS we will still be wearing masks in offices whilst walking around and staff and patients must wear masks in clinics wards etc So what does that tell about the government rules Maybe it is just applying to my area I don’t know What is going to happen in your work environment MICHELE
Hmm shopping SANDRA? Is your mobility scooter comfortable The las thing you want to do is make the girls worry about your pain I suggest they go on their own but send you videos/photos of everything she tries on Not the same I knowYou have to look after yourself at the moment I know how much you’d love some girlie time But is it worth it?
Bowling was good fun last night and the weather was beautiful Will be going to Roll Up this afternoon
As my friend said it’s lovely that we’re doing something together
    Take care all xx

  4. Hello, it’s cloudy here today, but still warm when the sun comes out.

Sandra love your card today, still looking for my Christmas stuff, can’t think where I’ve put it.

If you go shopping take care, but have a lovely time. Really miss going shopping with my daughter.

Antibiotics really making me feel worse than the urine infection.

Have a good day all, Lilian

  5. Hello Sandra and ladies,

As others have also said Sandra today’s card appeals to me as well, I love CAS cards, I think it’s the simplicity that makes them stand out as very special, but that’s just my opinion. XX
Lillian if you’re still looking for your ‘Christmas stuff’ you could just cut elongated triangles and turn them into Christmas trees or circles into baubles. But with your talent what ever you do it will be special.

Karen it’s lovely hear to how much both you and Alan are enjoying bowling together.

Janet, pleased Jim’s cataract op went well, make sure he keeps using the eye drops. How long does he have to wait before they operate on his other eye?

I know the government are relaxing the Covid rules, but I will still continue to ware a face mask when I go out. It is disturbing when they say we should expect another outbreak mid August, does that not tell us we SHOULD carry on being cautious, Or am I missing something? Sorry couldn’t help it, I got on the soapbox there.

Take care everyone and stay safe, Hugs Brenda xxx

A lovely sunny day here and getting warmer, looking nice for the weekend.
I will continue to wear my mask in busy places, and I’m sure we’ll still have to wear them at work. Already been told we’ll be getting a booster jab in the autumn.
Hope you have all had a good day. Sending hugs to you all xxx
