Here we are at the start of another week, they are certainly whizzing by!
We should arrive at our Holiday centre today, we have a few hours to unwind and relax and then we then have to drive to Girona Airport to pick up Sophie, Lucy & Lewis who arrive at around 11pm. It will be a long day but it will be lovely to have everyone here together.
Today's card is an oldie (from last July) but works with the monochrome (using any colour ), i used two shades of orange to create an ombre effect for my background, over which I placed a white frame. I used the Daisy Punch (SU) to create my Daisy and the same orange colours for the foliage.
For the flower centre I used a faceted gem that I coloured with an orange alcohol Marker.
I hope you like my card and it gived you a little inspiration.

Has a busy day yesterday-housework in the morning then went for a walk in the afternoon. Spent a short while in my craft room but didn’t make anything then it was time to phone my Dad.

I had a day recovering from the Saturday bbq yesterday and did nothing but cook an evening meal.
Today I have to go and sort out my prescription arrangements as I am told that I cannot order until two days before my prescription is due because of controled drugs. This will cause one or two problems for me eg holidays etc so I have to go to the surgery this morning and hopefully sort something out. I usually order on line and I already have to give my surgery two days notice before I can pick up a prescription anyway sorry for the moan.
The CAFE is OPEN for you all. There's a date and walnut cake just waiting to be eaten.

DeleteJanet I’m with you on the moan about prescriptions, I dread ordering, l seem to have a problem every time. I think I have become the prescription clerks nightmare with all my queries.

ReplyDeleteSorry I haven’t been in over the weekend Saturday I went up to London to meet my sister off the train. Sunday we went down to Essex to see daughter and family and other daughter and her family also came so it was a lovely lovely family day . Today we are recovering and taking the day as it comes.
SANDRA I love this card, Love the way you have created the ombré effect with the two yellows, the daisy is just perfect.

We haven’t had lunch yet, I picked some giant tomatoes from the greenhouse a while ago I’m just making them into soup. So chunky bread and fresh soup are on the menu any minute now.
