Another TicTacToe Challenge Card

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, I also hope that you had the lovely weather that we had yesterday, it was lovely and warm and really sunny, which is really helpful as I am trying to get the last bits of washing done and ready to pack.  The girls seem to keep finding more things that they 'need' to take, Paul has put a deadline on having their cases back, tonight at 6pm they are being put into the car, ready or not!!

Today's card is a pretty wedding card, really simple but has the WOW factor with the Mirror card and Lace die cuts.
Its made using Categories:  Feminine/Die Cut/Simple Stamping

The main die cut was cut using (SU) Springtime Thinlits, which I used to cut some Silver Mirror card, I placed it onto a white base card that I had cut with a Lace Edger die for a more feminine look.
The 'Wishing you a Lifetime of Happiness' sentiment was stamped and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder so that it tied in with the rest of the card.
I also added a panel of silver mirror card behind the lace die cut.
The card was finished with White Ribbon that is edged with silver foil, I added little metallic flowers to embellish the Sentiment strip and to finish my bow.
I hope that you like it xx

Pat came over yesterday, we went out to lunch to a local garden centre, it has recently changed from a Wyevale Garden centre, to a Hillier Garden centre, nothing inside had changed much, Pat and I both had Scampi and Chips, it was very nice.  We then had a walk around the Works and Bon Marche but there wasn't much to see, the range of Craft stuff in that Works seems to get less every time we go, which is a shame as Craft shops are very few and far between around here.
Thank you Pat for a lovely lunch and for getting me out of the house xxx

I hope that you all have a lovely day ladies,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra

Sandra-lovely Card, really striking. Glad you were able to go out with Pat but shame you didn’t give many craft supplies.
    Good luck with the packing!

Yesterday was a busy day-only got back to work at 11:30 after my appointment . I was given done advice on how to deal with stress/tension. Saw the Physio who has referred me to a Podiatrist and suggested I see my GP. Appointment made to see GP and referral taken to the Podiatrist. I then finished work early to get to my blood donation appointment and was in and out quicker then ever! Relaxing evening reading was just what I needed.

  2. Hi ladies, very pretty card Sandra. Love the lace edge die. I'm sure I have that one. Sadly I don't use half of my dies and I should. Glad you had a good day with Pat and good luck with the packing.x

We had a terrific downpour of rain yesterday. I was walking Gracie at the time and we came home dripping. Even had to take off my underclothes. Gracie had a good rub with the nearest fluffy towel and then I got the hairdryer on her.Happy to say it's really freshened the air and it's a lot less humid today.

No crib today sadly so I'm getting the sewing machine later as I have a few alterations that need doing.

    Have a good day everyone.
    Love Valx

  3. Morning Everyone
A beautiful card SANDRA- I love the border die.

K&N was really good. Everyone seemed to enjoy making the card and box so I was pleased with that.

I went into The Works in Meadowhall on Saturday and was very surprised to see that they now have a section dedicated to Crafter's Companion in their craft area. They had a good selection of /card/glues/some dies/efolders and they even had a Gemini selling at £125.That's the cheapest I've seen it anywhere. I don't know how long they will carry these items.

The CAFE is oPEN ready and waiting for you all.
Have a good day. Take care and stay safe. HUGS on their way to you all.xxxx

  4. Your card is beautiful SANDRA I love it in the silver mirri I can also see it in colours to match the wedding theme and a change of sentiment to make a stunning birthday/anniversary card
Now here’s a little giggle for you I decided to have a go at stamping a background All was going well until I picked up an ink pad to ink up a small stamp and then stamped the card with the ink pad - not a great look!
    Will have another go later!
I hope the girls take PAUL at his word but there are always those last minute things aren’t there Are you taking any crafting bits with you

Good luck with the packing and girls if it's not with you ,you don't need it. Something I should tell myself when going away.
Glad you had a nice time with Pat. The works in our Wyevale is quite good and you can usually pick up some nice value paper/cards.
Yesterday was a glorious day and we both sat outside and read but today I'm having a duvet day, feel like I been run over or something. Hoping tho that you all have a good day and enjoy some crafting.

  7. Hi Sandra and ladies.
A lovely card today. I looks very classy.
Yes, we did have a lovely lunch at the garden centre. Plenty of snacks foods and jacket potatoes, sandwiches and the lime. But not many main meals. They only have a specials board at the moment. They are going to increase the main meals selection apparently but by adding them slowly. Hence we both had Scampie & Chips. All very hot as were the plates which is a bonus.
I’m hoping to re post my parcel if it stops raining. Apparently the postal people in Turkey are returning post in error. They are sorting it out apparently. Fingers crossed it reaches its destination this time.

  9. Hello All, another day of rain and very chilly, back to wearing socks again, normally September before I start adding layers.

Sandra two lovely cards today and yesterday, not sure I’ll make one this as it’s our granddaughters birthday, so we are going to London to stay with our daughter, very apprehensive as it’s the first time I’ve been away since Christmas.

Good news today my biopsy result came back benign, told that if still getting bleeds after six months to see GP again.

Hope those that who are suffering soon feel better, hugs to all Lilian

  10. Hello Sandra and ladies,

What a lovely wedding card Sandra. I love this Springtime die, mine has been used so many times and looks lovely in every colour I’ve tried.

Weather not good here today, we have had rain almost all day long. Bonus is the garden doesn’t need watering, only had water the greenhouse. So didn’t take to long.

Take care everyone, Love Brenda xxx
