Good Morning Ladies,
I hope that you are all well and not suffering with bad weather, we had a few cloudy moments but it wss sunny most of the day.
Pat came over, poor Sue had a migraine, which if this weather is amything to do with it I'm not surprised about, I have had headaches on and off for a few days. I hope you feel better for tomorrow my lovely.
Pat got some lovely backgrounds made for some of her Groovi creations, of course we had yummy cakes too! X
Today's card is the one I made for Sophie's Birthday a couple of years ago, I still love it, it fits the Mixed Media brief, I used Stampin'Up Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and Dragonfly Dreams stamp and die set.
I just love how it turned out.
I will be in my craft room all day to get some cards made for while we are away.

ReplyDeleteSandra-what a lovely card, I’m not surprised you still like it.
I have absolutely no idea what the weather was like yesterday-don’t think I saw daylight whilst I was at work. Dentist managed to repair a cracked tooth after my check up, only problem was I had a slightly numb mouth when I met my friend for dinner! At least I can cancel the appointment in October-that’s how long I was going to have to wait!

We had a much better day yesterday weatherwise.No rain and a very reasonable temp.I'm hoping today will be the same.
My tasks for today is to photograph my CC and make a start on September's birthday cards.
The CAFE is OPEN usual hours so pop in for a sit and a chat with a cuppa.

Great to see you yesterday. Made it in time to park up and meet Craig, Jenny & Xander to see The Lion King. I remembered to give Jenny her birthday card for Sunday. Must remember to message to see if the parcel I sent 18 days ago to Turkey arrived. Mind you the large letter I sent to Australia took 15 days to arrive. Our post really is awful since it goes to Swindon sorting office. Soapbox back in the corner. I’m off to Doreen’s care home this afternoon for an Alice in Wonderland tea party. Will be interesting to see who the staff dress up as. I think Karen & Co are going as well.

I'm in a real pickle with this challenge and my problem I think is that I overthink it and so far nothing and today SIL and her husband are here so after all the swearwords done ,no time for any crafting today.
Looks like it going to be a nice day so hopefully you all got the same ,sadly it's going to change tomorrow. Do try to stay dry Janet if going out Lol

It is very warm today I am just sitting in cafe having something sweet to eat to get my blood sugars up to be able to walk home
Craft club tonight and will take crochet It’s too hot to try and sort something different out
Like you MICHELE I am at dentist tomorrow for completion of some dental work but also he’s supposed to be looking at a tooth that has broken Not great when you have to wait for soooo long for appointments

Came on to see if we could meet up for lunch so we met them at the weather spoon in Ramsgate it must be about 20 years since we saw them
She was Married to my brother & her husband now was married to my now SIL. So they have actually swapt partners
Must go & try & send a link to the lady who is doing our Attendance Alowance. So hopefully I can

Not a lot happened today, we went food shopping, didn’t need much so it wasn’t to tiring, after lunch the weather was nice enough to sit outside for a while.
Great Pat came over yesterday. Sorry Sue wasn’t well enough to come. SUE I hope you are feeling a lot better today xx
