Your cards for Lilian's Challenge

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

I hope you are all having a peaceful Sunday Morning.  The weather was much nicer than i anticipated yesterday, meaning the trip to the tip wasn't too dreadful mind you that place does stink!   How do the seagulls know where the tip is?? They are normally at the seaside right, Swindon is nowhere near the tip, these are the bizarre things that cross my mind while I am waiting for Paul to unload or rubbish!! Ooooh it feels so liberating!! 🤣🤣😂, 'm not sure Paul shared my excitement though!

Now lets look at your cards for Lilian's Colour Challenge....

Your Challenge Cards

Lilian

Lilian's Description:

Hi, here is my card for this week, I used Brushos for a change, Tim Holtz wild flower stamps, and black embossing powder. Hope you are enjoying your day. Very quiet here, so am watching the tennis. R home again this evening. Enjoy your week end.

Ooh Lilian I love your background, I forget to use my Brushos, this is just the inspiration I need to get them out.  This would be lovely as a journal page too.
Thank you so much for inspiring us and for choosing this weeks challenge XXX

Brenda

Brenda designed this card for a different Challenge but it just so happens to work perfectly for this Challenge.  The stamp is by HoneyDoo and Brenda coloured it with her Polychromo pencils and blended over with Copic pens.
Such a beautiful card Brenda, Thank you so much for inspiring us XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I used a Gummiapan stamp, stamped in Mustard Seed distress ink, and Nautical Blue and Olive Grove Memento Dew Drop inks. I inked the edges of the rectangles too and used my Lindy’s sprays to add some splotches. The sentiment is The Stamp Market.

Absolutely stunning Sonia, its beautiful in its simplicity,  I love the colours,  the design is just..Wow!  Thank you so much my lovely XXX

Karen

Karen's Description:

Here’s a blue/yellow card for Lillian’s challenge
An inked piece of watercolour card using Salty Ocean and Fossilised Amber DO (Squeezed Lemonade was too pale) Over stamped with some Tracy Evans A7 stamps and used SueW Big Bold Words die and stamp with Lidl coloured card.

Love this card Karen it is so bright and cheerful,  the background is amazing,  I do love Salty Ocean though.  A great card to have in your standby box as it's great for any gender.

Thanks so much for designing such a fantastic card for Lilian's Colour Challenge XXX

Janet's Description:

Lovely cards ladies I will like to try Sonia’s layout with some dies or stamps if we do another colour challenge like red/orange/yellow (which I think was another brilliant idea from Lillian)
OH is still in bed and I’m itching to get crafting which is in bedroom next door!

Love all the cards ladies. Thank you Lilian for setting the cc and I did send two cards off but I might have been too late for the posting ?
Not doing too much today. OH is doing a bit of gardening. I might start on a new crystal art or read my book I started on holiday, a bit slow one but still want to finish it.

Hope you’re all having a good day whatever you’re doing. I’m just home from work, and looking forward to my day off tomorrow 😊
Luke has gone to Good Wood today with his work, perks of the job, although they have got some of their cars there on a stall, but he’ll be in his element.
Hope you’re all keeping well, enjoy the rest of the day.
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  5. Hello Sandra and ladies.
Lovely selection of challenge cards this week, thank you Lilian for suggesting it.
Sandra I had to smile when I looked at the blog, I hadn’t thought about this card fitting this challenge. Confession I did send in card for this challenge and was pleased with myself for finishing it in really good time …. there’s a but coming…. Yes about 7pm yesterday I looked at my iPad, I hadn’t pressed send, what a dumbo. It could be in your in tray or flying around in cyberspace, really think I’m loosing it. But at least I can laugh at myself so there’s hope for me yet.
I hope you are alll having a good weekend, take care, love Brenda xxx

  7. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today.
Your quote of the week gave me a giggle and that “oh yes I quite agree” thought 😁 Thank you for the review. Those stamps are really nice and so if the techniques need to be tried. Glad you managed to get a couple of top trips in. Not the nicest way to spend your time but much needed sometimes isn’t it xx
