Your TicTacToe Challenge cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

I hope today finds you well, gentle hugs to those of you feeling low.   A slow day for me after a very long day, road closures made the journey even longer and more frustrating than it should of been.

I used a bizarre method to curl my hair for yesterday's party, you basically take a dressing gown belt and you wrap your hair around it and sleep with it in, I have to say that it worked a treat!  The bonus being that I didn't need to spend hours trying to curl it.

Karen

Karen's Description:

Here’s a card for the Tic Tac Toe challenge
Blue Masculine Dry embossing
I created background with Aall and Create Endless Circles border stamp and DO
I stamped my all time favourite Through the Meadows but I should have wiped off the ink from the butterfly wings - you can just see them poking out behind the Indigoblu hot air balloon I mounted it over black cotton for a bit of texture
The dry embossing comes from a Dymo tape.

Love this card Karen, the background is amazing, so much incredible detail.  The Dymo tape is such a great way of adding sentiments on these style cards.  They in Aldi at the moment at a really good price if anyone is looking for one.  Thanks so much for taking part my lovely XXX

Janet

Janet's Description:

Here is my CC for this week.

I cannot tell you anything as to who published the papers etc as this is the card I made at my last K&N. The 'kit' was provided by one of our ladies but it just fitted the Challenge for this week.

I used Birthday/Favourite colour/Blue/Floral and Ribbon from the grid.

Janet your card is so pretty, I love the papers you have used,  that die cut border with the ribbon bows os such a lovely touch. How lucky that your K&N friend worked with our Challenge 😉 !!            Thank you so much for taking part XXX

Cheryl

Cheryl was inspired to use more black on her cards after the Tuxedo card she made a couple of weeks ago.  Cheryl has used some lovely die cuts, the Circles mask is by Aall&Create, it works so well with the dotty border cheryl used.

Thank you so much for taking part XXX

Sue

Sue's Description:

Here’s my challenge card, at a stretch as I have used BLUE, FAVOURITE COLOUR(blue) and MASCULINE 😏 I should of made it for a birthday to fit the tic-tac-toe properly shouldn’t I! I used the alcohol ink on Yupo technique for the middle.

Oh Sue I love the Alcohol ink piece you have used, the colours are amazing, the border you have stamped works so well with the colours in the background, the feather looked really realistic too.
Love your card,  thank you so much for taking part my lovely XXX

Lilian

Lilian's Description:
Hi, here is my card for this week. I used floral, dry embossing and birthday.

Is that the SU poppy Lilian? I love the detail in it, love the foliage too, the embossed panel gives just the right amount of detail, allowing that pretty poppy to steal the limelight.  Thank you so much for taking part my lovely,  I really do appreciate it XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

Category floral/blue/birthday
I used the beautiful Anna Marie papers you so kindly sent me for my Birthday 😊 They are beautiful and really don’t need much more added to them. The flowers are from Becca Feeken - Amazing Paper Grace, with a Stamp Market ceramic dot added to the centre.

Wow, you have worked your magic with those papers Sonia,   such a gorgeous card, Becca Feeken Flowers work so perfectly with the papers too.        Thank you so much for taking part in the Challenge XXX

  2. Hello Sandra and ladies,
What a lovely and all so different selection of inspiring challenge cards,
Hope you enjoyed the family get together, How annoying that there were many road closures just adding discomfort and time to a very long journey, I hope you both have a very quiet day today.
We are just pottering have been out in the garden for a while John is out there trimming a couple of bushes, I’ve come back indoors to make some lunch and then we’ll see what the afternoon brings.
Hope everyone is having a good day and the weather is kind to you. Hugs Brenda XXX

  3. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today.
Gorgeous cards from everyone. I always get some ideas for more cards from each challenge card every week. I will admit now that my card isn’t finished as I ran out of time Friday night so the layers aren’t stuck down yet as I wasn’t happy with the sentiment. I will now change it for a happy birthday one then finish it properly 😙
Sandra I’m sorry to hear the journey home was made worse by traffic problems. It feels like every road has some sort of work being done on it no matter where you live. The councils, utility companies etc. are all playing catch-up up after the Covid lock down I assume, still annoying though. Get out into the garden and sit back in an easy chair if you can manage to get out there my lovely so you can soak up some sun and rest xx
I had a lovely day watching the family fishing. It ending with Phoebe (nearly 13) catching a 10lb Tench which is at least 3lb bigger than any fish Chris snr or RJ have ever caught!!!
A lazy day here with a discussion on where we are going to put a couple of plants. Have a good day ladies. Love to all. Take care. Sue xx
