Good Morning Ladies,
We had a very breezy day yesterday, mostly sunny though thankfully! I didn't get outside much though, both girls were home so I am pleased to report that there was lots of vacumming and cleaning going on, I say that but they probably just switched the vacuum on to make it sound like they were busy! 🤣😂 i got a few more little jobs done but had to keep resting, Paul had given me orders to rest when he left for work. (Well i did for a couple of hours( 😉
Today's beautiful card is the one that Brenda made for Lilian's Colour Challenge last weekend.
Brenda's Description:
I used Honey Doo stamps and dies for the flowers on this card and coloured them with my Copics. The sentiment is from Julie Hicks, another stamp and die set, I cut the back section twice to give the sentiment a little more definition.
Thanks so much for taking time to make such a lovely card for Lilian's Challenge. Your card is Beautiful, I love the colours you have used, I have to say that the sentiment looks fantastic, it really pops! You wouldn't think backing with white would create such incredible difference . XXX
Ladies I hope that you all have a lovely day,
Sending my love and hugs to all of you
Sandra xxxxxx
Morning Everyone
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though we have had quite a downpour during the night. The garden will definitely benefit from it.
BRENDA - I love love your card for LILIAN's Challenge last week.
Your flowers are definitely a WOW and your sentiment is gorgeous.
It was a very quiet K&N yesterday afternoon. We had one or two ladies absent for various reasons.
I have the washer churning away but I really want to try and get a start on my Challenge for this week.
The CAFE is OPEN for ALL who wish to pop in for a visit. HUGSare on their way to you all with extras for Dear Friends not feeling too well at the moment.. Please take care and stay safe.xxxx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove the card from our Brenda, the honey doo stamps are so pretty and your colouring in is beautiful. ❤️
Hope you get some more energy back soon, it's awful to feel like a zombie isn't ?😳
Washing on the line, perfect weather today for it but rain forecast for the next three days 🙄 Had a trip in town this morning, had a look in The Works, our have stopped selling dies which is a shame, came home with a block of paper 12x12's and then watched a program by Craftstash and ordered some " bits". OH said No but I said nothing and ordered it anyway 🤭😂
Have a good day everyone and many hugs to you all 🤗 xoxo
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful card Brenda, the colouring is lovely and I love the sentiment too 😊
Maria, you made me chuckle with your comment about ordering your CraftStash goodies after hubby said no 😂 You’ve got to treat yourself sometimes haven’t you? Just hide them when they arrive 🤣🤣
I’m going to have a play with my new Chloe’s goodies that arrived yesterday and make a start on this weeks challenge card 😊
Hope you’re all having a good day. Sending hugs to you all xxx
Hello all, very heavy showers, and still quite chilly.
ReplyDeleteBrenda I love your card, I have those stamps but wouldn’t have thought to use them the way you have.
Been watching the tennis this afternoon, seems to be dry at Wimbledon. I have been trying to sort out Rs printer, had paper jammed, managed to get it out but now it doesn’t work, air is blue.
Hope you all had a lovely day, Lilian
Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today.
ReplyDeleteBrenda your challenge card is gorgeous. I love everything and what a great layout. I must try to remember to use your idea if that is ok. I’m sorry that you are feeling so tired still. Please try and rest as much as you can though xx
Sandra I’m glad you did rest up a bit when Paul left for work. See you tomorrow my lovely xx
I know my prescription has changed so will be trying to choose new glasses that look ok. I hate having to do it on my own but I will take photos so I can get Chris to have a look and give his opinion!
I hope everyone of you get a decent nights sleep. Sending love and hugs to you all. Take care xx
