Good Morning Ladies,
Now I am surprised its Thursday already, I know it's no surprise that I'm confused but I seriously thought that not having the Bank Holiday Monday would mean this week would drag, as you can tell for me it hasn't!
I am looking forward to seeing Sue today, so lovely to have a friend to come over to chat and craft with.
Today's card uses Categories: Embossing/Flowers /Favourite colour (Green)
This shade of Green is called 'Soft Sea Foam' it's a really light, delicate green that works so well against a white background. I used my SU Ornate Borders Dies to create the little bits if foliage for the wreath, they are tiny and it took a while but I quite like the effect. I stamped my sentiment and embossed in gold and die cut with a circle die, a placed the wreath over the sentiment. I then used some tiny flowers to embellish the wreath.
Quite simple but I don't think it needs anything more. I hope you like it.
I hope that you all have a pleasant day,
Love and big squishy hugs to all,
Sandra

It’s very pretty and worth the effort of cutting those small fiddly pieces Say Hello to Sue for me A friend of mine came around to craft yesterday evening and we were still crafting and chatting at 11pm!
ReplyDeleteOff to M&S later for a bra fitting and underwear buying! But will craft afterwards
Hope your appointment went well Brenda and I hope you managed to contact the ICT team Lilian
Take care everyone xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty card today, the wreath is beautiful 😍
Have a lovely time with Sue xx
Mark and I went to the cinema last night to see Top Gun Maverick. It was really good, and I recommend seeing it if you’ve seen the first Top Gun film. Tom Cruise still looks good on his motorbike 😍 I know you and Paul saw it last night too Sandra, and glad you enjoyed it 😊
Hoping to craft later today and tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
Hello all, wet most of today, should have expected it as it’s our local agriculture show, it’s on for 3 days. We used to always go, but can’t manage to get around these days.
ReplyDeleteLove todays card, that lovely soft green is such a peaceful colour.
Love the wreath and the little flowers.
Had my X-ray today, not a single other patient. So why do we have to wait so long.
Hope you all had a good day, will try and do this weeks card tomorrow. Goodnight all Lilian.
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteI really thought I had left a comment earlier, poor old brain playing tricks on me - nothing new there!
Sandra I love this card the beautiful soft green compliments the wreath perfectly, everything works so well together even the statement sentiment, just love it all.
Hope everyone has had a good day. Hugs Brenda xxx
