Mixed Up Saturday

Good Saturday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all enjoying this lovely long weekend.  We had a day jn the garden yesterday,  the afternoon bought a special treat as a lot of the Aircraft that took part in the fly past were returning, the Red Arrows gave a little display as they returned, it was quite cloudy though so we didn't get to enjoy the full display.  There was rain in the air  but it didn't really come to much.  Sadly today we are meant to get a lot of rain so I'm guessing the 'street party' will be split between the community centre and the pub, such a shame when all the organisation has gone into it being outside.

Maria

Maria's Description:

It is my Sister-in-law Anna and her Husband Wayne's 50th Golden Anniversary. This is the card I have made for them.

Such a beautiful card Maria, so classy!  I love the subtle background and that die cut heart is beautiful, using ths different card for the champagne flutes works brilliantly as they both stand out. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely card with us XXX

Diecutting Essentials
Issue 90

A lovely Tropical feel to this month's Diecutting Essentials,  the free dies are nice and quite useful.

Some lovely card ideas in this first feature, Nicky shows how to get the best out of the dies.

Amy shows you how to create some lovely 'Window Pop-Out' cards using dies you have in your stash
I have included the "How To' as it shows quite clearly the process.
There are some lovely inspirational cards to give some ideas.
These features are great,  anything that gets us using our stash

Another post to help you get more from your Embossing folders.  Using different inks to get different looks.

This feature shares ideas to make gorgeous gift packaging,  I love the gift bag.

Die cut impression heat embossing is the technique used to make these gorgeous cards. I love how they look. You will need Mask It sheets to make them.

These cards are all made using stacked dies, I have included the step by step instructions to give you some tips.

Finally some more summery cards made using the free dies and downloadable papers
.
All in all a good magazine with some great dies and some lovely inspiration.

I hope that you all have a lovely Saturday,

Love and hugs to all of you,

  4. Hello All, cold and rainy here today, so glad I did all my washing yesterday.

The class today was good, lot of chatting going between the groups. Found the polymer clay quite hard on the hands, but have finished with with the clay for this project. Painting tomorrow so that should be fine. Hope you are all enjoying the festivities, Lilian
