Wedding Card & Box

 






Good Monday Morning Ladies, 

I am to sorry to hear that some of you are now in Tier 4 and not able to go ahead with your Christmas plans, as awful as it is  I know it is the safest option for all of us. Hopefully some of you may he able to connect via Zoom or Facetime,  we have organised two Family Quiz sessions, one put together by Matt  and the other by Sophie and Lucy, we usually spend Christmas Day evening and Boxing day playing family games so hopefully these will fill that gap.

Today's card is the 'Last Minute' Wedding card that I made for Becca, who's friend had a reorganised Wedding on Friday, sadly Becca was unable to attend as it ended up being the Bride, Groom and their parents.  
The groom is a farmer and their wedding Invitation featured 'His & Hers' Wellington Boots so that is the theme I chose for their card,  luckily Amazon had the Sizzix Rain Boot die set on Prime so I was able to get that delivered on Thursday,  it didn't arrive until early evening so I certainly put in a late shift that night, I got up early and finished the box on Friday Morning, I think a box makes it more of a gift.   I also think that the card could be popped into a box frame and kept as a keepsake of the day.
Fingers crossed they liked it.

    Sandra-what a stunning card. To make that with so little notice is amazing.

    Sad to read about Tier 4 bring introduced-very sad for those who have been following the rules. Our simple arrangements fir Christmas haven’t changed

    Yesterday stayed wet mist of the day so no walk. I went up to the shed for another bird feeder and found a dead Hedgehog on the lawn & it had been attacked. Dealt with that-got upset. Later in the day my cousins wife messaged to say my Uncle has now tested positive for Covid. His only symptoms so far are a mild cough-I’m just hoping it doesn’t get any worse.
    Off to work early to update a colleague who was off last week.

      So sorry to hear that your uncle has Covid Michele. Fingers crossed that he doesn’t have any further symptoms. Hope your crazy friend is ok.

    Beautiful Beautiful card SANDRA and so appropriate given the Grooms Occcupation.

    MICHELE-I'm so sorry to see that your Uncle has tested positive. I hope that his symptions stay as they are.I am thinking of you and of course your Dear Friend.

    Well I didn't get anywhere near putting the wrapping paper away yesterday so that's my main aim for today.

    I really feel for all who have been put into Tier4 but it really is the correct action. Nothing has changed here we're still in Tier3 as we have been for most of the year and our Christmas will just be the two of us as we had planned.

    The CAFE is OPEN as usual so if anyone needs santuary or just a minute or two respite it's there.

    Hi everyone
    A beautiful card and box, I’m sure it will be treasured.
    After a lovely dry, sunny day here yesterday we’re now back to wet and windy!
    I’m off to Sainsbury’s in a bit to pick up a few bits. Popping into work later for Secret Santa, then will spend the rest of the day wrapping presents. Will probably do the big food shop early tomorrow at Tesco.

      It is such a shame that more of the country won’t be able to have their usual Christmas but better safe than sorry.

    Michele- so sorry to hear your uncle was positive for covid, hopefully he will recover from it all. Hope your crazy friend is doing alright x Understand you got upset finding the hedgehog, poor thing. I found a rabbit around our lake ones who been hit by a car and which died in my arms. I couldn't go to work that day for I was so upset,silly me.
    It's been pretty awful weather today but it stopped raining so will soon walk around and deliver the x-mas cards to our neighbours and then back home I am making some Ginger Biscuits, cheating a bit for bought the dough from Ocado, haven't made any since we changed the kitchen some time ago now so my cutters are missing, do you think I can cut them out in the machine with a circle or heart shaped die LOL

    Hello Sandra and ladies,

    What a fantastic card and coordinating box you have made for the newlyweds, I’m sure they loved it. Becca would have delighted in giving it to them, it really is one to treasure.

    We like most of you have had rain today, but it was on and off not continuous. I really do not like these damp dark days, everywhere looks so drab, even people passing by look miserable.

    Dinner is almost ready, so better get a wiggle on. Have a nice evening.
