Karen's Amazing Cards

Karen's Video

Good Morning Ladies,

Happy Christmas Eve Ladies, are you all organised?? Paul and wrapped until midnight last night, we have most of it done thankfully!  The long wrapping session was much more enjoyable by watching Calendar Girls, I love that film, such a feel good film to watch too.

Today's cards are absolutely AMAZING!!! Karen used a die designed Karen Burniston called 'Photo Collage Pop-up '
Your layout and design for both of these incredible Memory evoking cards is pure brilliance, the colours and papers make them fun for the boys to look at too.
Thank you so much, I feel so honoured that you allowed me to share your designs Karen 💖 XXX

Ladies make sure you watch the little video clip to see the full effect of the Pop-Up !

Now I know that things are far from ideal, Oxfordshire has been added to the Tier 4 list now too, we are going to Tier 3, I don't think the Tiers make any difference,  we are all going to be 'lockdown'  after Christmas, hopefully we can get ahead of this awful virus.
I hope that you all have the best Christmas day possible, fingers crossed for good internet service on Christmas day, as most of us will be using it to see our families.  I will be thinking of you all my Dear Sweet Friends ♥

Sending Love and huge, heartwarming hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Quick comment as blogger won't let me use my phone.
Karen-two fantastic cards which will be treasured I'm sure.

Yesterday was extremely busy as we have a few staff off sick. Just hoping today isn't too crazy.

    Merry Christmas to everyone.

Oh KAREN what a wonderful idea. One that I've never seen before.Just love it.

It won't be busy here today -I'm sure of that.

I wish each and everyone the very best of Christmas and that 2021 will be a much better year for everyone.

I shall be thinking of all who cannot be with families/all our Armed Services who spend many Christmas away from all loved ones/all who have worked 'on the front line' doing their best to keep everyone as safe as they can.

HUGS and love are on their way to you all.
    TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  3. Thank you for sharing my cards I loved making them and hope to make more (when we can socialise again) of events eg day trips I used the “photo frames” for my calendar which I have also sent to SANDRA I also have a friend that asks me to incorporate photos in cards I make for her and it’s a bit different The frames can be filled with all sorts of things - flowers butterflies etc
Karen Burniston has some amazing dies and her tutorials are very easy to follow
Last day of work until the New Year for me We are usually out dancing, going to different events during Christmas week but obviously can’t now Seems a waste of annual leave but we all need to recharge our batteries

  6. Hi Sandra & ladies
Wow Karen your cards are stunning. Just love these pop up cards. Such a lovely keepsake for the family.
Karen has put photos of the flooding that is on the Hailey Rd. that’s the rd you come up to my road. It looks as bad as the floods we had in 2007. The water runs off the fields behind Eastfield Rd then onto Hailey Rd. two boys were playing in the storm drain behind the houses and one boy drowned. I thought all that had been fixed so it wouldn’t flood as they’re hoping to build houses on that field. The water runs through the houses that back onto the field though.
It’s Sunny today so I’m going to go for a quick walk.
Merry Christmas to everyone and stay safe.

  7. Meant to say that Covid vaccinations have started at our surgery in Witney. Seems quite a few people have had it already. Not a Moment to soon with how Covid is spreading at the moment.

  8. Hello All, wet and very cold, what a night again the wind was very stormy, we have heavy wooden chairs and tables on the patio, all blown over, hope there not broken, first time that’s happened.

Karen love your pop up card, lovely pictures of your cute grandsons. Might have a look for that die set.

Feeling rather flat today, the family should be coming, I know it has to be this way, but it’s a year since we have seen them . Mimi our little granddaughter was very upset when she thought that Granny and Grandpa wouldn’t have any presents to open, how lovely is that.

Lastly but not least, can I thank you all for your lovely cards you have sent us.

Sandra thanks also for taking the time to write the blog every day. Hugs Lilian

Wow, what a lovely idea Karen. Love your cards, they will be treasured.
Had confirmation today of a gift arriving at Next, which said would be delayed, so need to pop out to pick that up and a few last bits to wrap. Hopefully I can then sit and relax and enjoy Christmas Eve.
Cheryl, thank you for the lovely Christmas card xx
I wish you all a wonderful evening and a lovely day tomorrow. Merry Christmas to you all ❤️
