Your TicTacToe Challenge Cards

Good Morning Ladies,

Sending love and hugs to all of you on this very special day xxxx

I hope that you are all ok and coping with all of the added stress that this awful situation has bought us, there are so many things to worry about, it seems to dominate every part of your day
It's shocking to see on the news that people are still continuing to ignore the call to stay at home, there were scenes of people eating ice creams  in Battersea Park, nobody observing the distancing recommendations.  I wonder how long before the Government issues orders to make you stay at home similar to what they have done in Italy.  The scenes from their hospitals yesterday were heartbreaking.  I also think that the National Medical Director hit the nail on the head when he said that ''People Should be Ashamed of themselves for stockpiling food'', if it carries on I honestly think that we will be having to have 'Ration Books'. The irritating thing is that they keep saying that there is no shortage of supply of food , it's simply people's greed that is causing the shortage.
I spoke to both of my sisters yesterday and Emily now has 5 cases of the Virus at her hospital, there were none on wednesday so thats a sharp rise, she now won't go anywhere near Mum just in case.
Claire is SENCO at the local primary school, they are now working through all holidays and Bank holidays to look after vulnerable children and those of Frontline workers, they are just doing more learning through play than anything else. She is dropping off whatever essentials she  can to mum but is also worried about passing the virus on to her.

Let's have a look at what you have been making......

  2. Morning Ladies

What an amazing selection of challenge cards today, all gorgeous.

Late start for me as I had a bit of a lie in, I was shattered yesterday.

Off to Tesco soon-they’re opening 9-10am for NHS staff so I hope to get a few basic provisions.

Housework & gardening later I think.

  3. Each card is gorgeous I cannot pick a favourite but SONIA has inspired me to get out those SB Die-Lite medallion dies again Do any of you remember that range of dies?
Life is so worrying at the moment and I’ve said from day 1 of the panic buying that they need to introduce ration books It would help for people having to buy for neighbours and won’t get accused of panic buying if they’ve got the ration books
I think OH will be going to the graves on his own I know it’s outside and there’s plenty of room to social distance myself but I’m just so so scared now Usually I’m a sensible person but not anymore
Won’t be doing much today Take care everyone and please stay safe xxx

  4. Hi Sandra & ladies
Some beautiful cards on show today. Love them all and as per usual not one is the same.
Craig & co stoped by to wish me happy mother’s day yesterday, Made sure they stayed enough distance away though. Craig wanted to borrow the patio cleaner and the paint stripper. I’ve also just walked to the end of our road while no one was about. Keith’s just rung and will bring me some fruit back from Lidl. Lots of everything he said but hardly any customers. Perhaps people are taking notice of DO NOT STOCKPILE but I won’t hold my breath.

  6. Hi Sandra and ladies from a sunny MK and I hope you have a nice day. Happy Mothers day.
I love all the card on the board today , some wonderful papers ! and so nice to see Sonia back with her beautiful cards.
Brenda-we are having a Chinese this evening, face masks incl?
Karen- lovely cards for mum. Shame you not going to the graves, sure if you keep the distance from others you could visit quickly. Take care.
Janet- hope your friend is ok and Jim. Sure you can't wait for this virus to be over so you can go over to Marigny.
Had walk again this morning but this time over towards Dobbies and to our surprise it is still open. We did go pass it tho and found this little shop with only one guy at the till so we popped in and got a loaf of bread with us back. Going to have another look at the wonderful cards now and then a little bit of gardening. Can't do the borders yet tho for it is so wet and heavy so have to wait a few days.
Stay safe and have a nice day my friends. Many hugs Maria xx

  7. Hi Sandra and everyone.
    Happy Mother’s Day xx
Gorgeous selection of cards on display today, all so lovely 😊
Sadly, there are still so many people out and about and not taking any notice of the social distancing rules. Driving home from work I couldn’t believe how busy our local park was, and photos on Facebook from Tesco this morning with queues of people all around the car park! I fear too that it won’t be long at all until we are on total lockdown 😔
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a lovely day. Hugs to all xxx

  8. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Happy Mother’s Day everyone, hope you are enjoying your day, whatever you are doing, It’s strange not spending the day with the family but pleased everyone is being really sensible. Just hope and pray that this self isolation gets rid of the corona virus, 🤞

What an amazing display of challenge cards. Looking forward to next weeks challenge. It really will be a case of thinking outside the box, that should be a good exercise for the grey matter!!! (Mine - not yours ladies)

MARIA don’t eat your Chinese with the face mask on .... it gets really messy !!!

Time to get the dinner on. Have a good evening, Love Brenda xxx
