An Inverted Stepper card

Good Morning Ladies,

Oh it was a warm one yesterday,  I went out to see Paul off at twelve and started pulling a few weeds but the heat was too much so I gave up and ended up having to lie down as my heart was going for it!!  Sophie came in a little while later and made us a nice lunch,  we have a bit of a think for chunks of Bell pepper with philadelphia light spread on and 'Everything But the Bagel' seasoning sprinkled on top, its so cool, creamy, crisp and 😋 delicious,  we have gone through a bag of peppers in 2 days! Good job its healthy!

For todays Fancy Fold I thought I would try Hazel Eaton's instructions for an 'Inverted Stepper' card. It's made using Pink Frog 15x30cm card, there are two cut lines and 4 score lines and that's it!                I used StampinUp 'Boho Indigo ' papers with matching Stamps and dies, I used John Lockwood foliage dies and the flowers came with papers.         It's quite an impressive card bearing in mind how simple it was.

At teatime last night it went really dark and it was hoping for a thunder storm to clear the air, we had a few spots of rain ( not enough that we didn't have to water the garden) and that was it! So hopefully the air will be a little fresher today!

I hope that you all have a comfortable day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra                                                                              xxxxxx

What a lovely card Sandra, the colours you have used are my favourite and such a lovely style card.

Yesterday was warm here too, we had about 3 spots of rain as I was leaving Tesco and the sky looked dark so I was hoping for heavy rain but nothing happened! We have sunshine and clouds this morning which will suit Hubby as he’s playing golf today (day off work).

  2. Morning Everyone
Love today's card SANDRA. It's a long while since I made a card using this fold. Also one of my most favourite colours too.

My tasks for today is to photograph my CC; sit on the phone for another hour waiting to be connected to the Council as yesterdAY (I gave up all hope after that hour). We have had a letter saying they are following up a complaint re Nuisance and Anti-Social Behaviour on our road and would we like to comment. Of course we would as we think it's our Neighbours but getting through to them is a nightmare.

The CAFE is OPEN usual hours. Help yourselves to cold drinks and Ices.HUGS ARE WINGING THEIR WAY TO YOU ALL.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  3. I love your card SANDRA and anything with a touch of blue works in my book
I think I could cope making the actual card base it would be cutting the mats that I would find difficult I really need to get some of that Pink Frog 15x30 card I noticed an advert on The Craft Store that it’s their (Pink Frig) anniversary soon Maybe there’ll be some good bargains …
We haven’t had any rain at all The gardens really could do with a drink If it carries on like this there’ll be a hosepipe ban
The heat messes my diabetes up a bit bit it’s OK if I watch what I do which won’t be much today😎🤣
    Take care all xxx

  4. Hi ladies
    Lovely different fold cards Sandra.
My hedge was cut yesterday and looks very nice. I’m glad I had it done.
Yesterday was very warm. It did come over black after tea. I was sat outside reading. We started having some spots of rain. I started to get a bit wet so thought I’d go in. By the time I’d sat down in the living room it had stopped. I also thought we were in for a storm.
    Take care & stay safe.

  7. Hello All, another pea souped here this morning, a bit brighter now. Very warm.

Waiting for Mr Sainsbury’s, he’s late, probably held up in traffic.
The American president arrived last night, landed at the RAF base then a cavalcade of 30!!! Cars to take him to Carbis bay. Would have been quite a sight if it wasn’t 12-30 at night.

Sandra love your card, the paper is very pretty, love dusky blue.
Glad I’ve finished my, and sent off to Sandra.

Hope you are all having a good day, hugs to all Lilian
