Woohoo thank goodness it's Friday!! As I said yesterday it has been a very long week, now that Paul works all week I really do appreciate the weekend. Nothing much happened here yesterday after a busy day Wednesday, I had a very lazy morning mostly due to no sleep and a terrible headache, I think the headache was partly due to the weird pre-storm atmosphere to be honest. As I am writing this it is so dark outside, I think we might get some heavy rain but the threat of a storm has passed. I hope that the rain bought some of you a little relief.
Maria I hope that you have a lovely time in Colchester and Norfolk, we used to holiday in Norfolk every year as children, Paul and I used to take our caravan to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk with Matt and Becca when they were tiny, so many happy memories.
Your Next Challenge From Sonia
Sonia has very kindly chosen our next Challenge, which I am very grateful for x💓x.........
So for our next challenge Sonia has asked that we use the Sentiment as the main feature of the card.
Your sentiment can be Stamped, Die cut or Digital whichever you prefer. The rest of the card can be decorated in anyway that you choose.
I am really looking forward to this challenge and I hope that you all enjoy it too.
Thank you so much Sonia for choosing this weeks Challenge XXX
I hope that you all have a lovely relaxed weekend,
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxxxxx
Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteSonia-great challenge and a lovely card as inspiration for us.
Sandra-hopefully your headache has eased.
We were meant to have thunderstorms Wednesday & Thursday but nothing happened. We’ve not had rain for week although I see next week we’re meant to have rain every day which is typical as I have a couple of days off!

DeleteMorning ladies,
ReplyDeleteGood idea for the challenge card Sonia.
Very overcast today maybe we will get some more rain? The garden is very parched in places now the meadow has been cut down and the moles seem to have decamped back to Barrett's estate and the fields beyond.
Off to buy Pete's flowers Lilies Roses and Gypsophila for his little space in the Garden of Rest. It is our 33rd Wedding Anniversary today so a quiet reflection of our wonderful, amazing and adventurous life together will be the order of the day.
love 7 hugs

Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteLovely card Sonia and a great idea for next weeks challenge, thinking cap on!
Cheryl thinking of you on your 33rd wedding anniversary. Your life with Pete sounds blessed with happiness and beautiful memories. xx
We celebrated our 60th anniversary yesterday, can’t believe where the time has gone, all the family are coming over tomorrow to celebrate with us. One small problem our oven which is 5 years old stopped working last Sunday, we rang Monday morning ( we have a cover plan) to get an engineer to come and fix it and were told someone would be here Friday (today) he rang about 9.39am and asked to confirm the error code displayed - his response was “oh that part is obsolete” !!!!
Talk about spitting feathers. Now we have to wait until next Tuesday to see what the next step is. But we will cope with the help of M&S. We did try to get booked into a local restaurant but there maximum number is 10.
Maria have a lovely break, it will do you both good after being stuck at home due to lockdown. xx
Better get a wiggle on, take care and enjoy your day, love Brenda xxx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteThank you for accepting my challenge 😊 I will look forward to seeing what you all create 😊😊
Raining all day here, the roads are flooding! It does feel a bit fresher though so that’s one blessing.
We’ve got a dog trainer coming this afternoon to come on a walk with us, and advise how we can get Barney to stop pulling. Fingers crossed, I’d so love to be able to take him for a walk, rather than him taking me! 😂
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. We’ll be getting a pizza in tonight and watching the England - Scotland game ⚽️
Sending hugs to you all xxx
