Pretty Pastel challenge card

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope you all got to enjoy a little sunshine yesterday, we did similar to yesterday, Paul created me an 'accessible' potting on area in the greenhouse, mostly because he doesn't enjoy that part of the process i thinkπŸ˜‰ only joking, he knows that I like to join him in growing vegetables, frustratingly there are very few things that I can actually do, as it turns out they jobs I can do are his least favourite,  I think he finds handling the seeds too fiddly, we make a good team!

Today's card is another version of the Challenge sketch.
I die cut a piece of white card with the SU Springtime Impression thinlet, next I used a dry baby wipe to add ink to the die cut, lightly to start with, building the ink up as I went along, I wanted to keep the colours pastel shades.
I added glue to the back of the die cut then I stamped my sentiment in one of the shades I used on the die cut piece.
It's something a little different, perfect for sending to my mum.

I hope that you all have a good day today,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

Sandra-your Card is do pretty, lovely colours.

We did more gardening yesterday-not much though. I planted out 40 Petunias which didn’t go very far st all and Phil re-seeded a few patches in the lawn where he’d dug out some weeds. It was cool but we braved it and sat out for a minutes then we had a few rain showers so we gave up .
Got our Indian takeaway last night which was delicious.
Just wondering what awaits me at work today-hopefully things will all be under control.

    1. I too have a couple of boxes to go to the charity shop when we’re out of lockdown. Plus a couple of bags to go to Karen’s nursery. They clothes etc that aren’t good enough for a charity shop.

  3. Hi Sandra & ladies
    Love today’s card you’ve made.
No gardening for me as 3/4 of it is gravel now, plus 2 patios and artificial grass. So I just need to brush that. We have a very long hedge that needs cutting. But that can wait until after lockdown as my friends grandson was going to cut it for me. My tulips came up that I planted up in pots but the wind has blown the petals off of them over the last few weeks.
Glad your managing to pot some plants on Sandra.
Very windy here today again. Lots of cloud as well so not much sun either. I’m pottering about and still trying to sort the craft room out.

  5. Hi ladies.
Lovely card Sandra and I love the soft colours you made for it.
Very windy today but braved it and went for our walk. Tried to quicken my steps but the knees was complaining so had to slow it down. Yesterday it was a knock on the door and 40 little plug plant arrived so put them around in some of the tubs. After put some in a pot I took the water can and gave it a soaking and it got way too much and they all floated up again 😊 that taught me.
I hope all who are working will have a good day and not too stressful day.
Have a nice day everyone and hugs are sent xxx

  6. Hello all, very cloudy and cold, heating on again.

Sandra , what Avery pretty card, would make a lovely get well card.

Been working on my flag book, it’s take me such a long time, finding stamping on acrylic paint tricky, so it’s looking a bit of a mess.

Hope you manage to a good after noon, Hugs Lilian

Lovely card Sandra, so pretty with the soft colours.
I’m off work now until next week, so plenty of time to craft. Must admit I haven’t done any for a few days, so looking forward to having a play 😊
Dry, but breezy here today. Hope the weather is kind where you all are, and you’re having a good day. Hugs to all xxx

  8. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today. I love today’s card, so delicate and pretty. I find using baby wipes a good way of controlling how much colour you want. I love the sentiment too, a font which is both beautiful and legible. I’m sure your Mum will like it. Enjoy yourself in the greenhouse now Paul has made a handy space for you. Isn’t that just like him, so thoughtful. Enjoy some more crafting on your flag book my lovely xx
Lynda, I hope you have managed to get a bit more sorted out. I am slowly getting there. I need to get some more storage boxes so will have to look online. Hugs to you and CU xx
Maria, so annoying that you had to do some replanting after giving them a bit too much to drink! I have done the same in the past so know just how you must have felt! X
I have gone even blanker than usual so will say goodbye for now but I do hope you are all ok. Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for Lynda, Mum and all in need. Take care xx

  9. Hello Sandra and ladies

What a Very pretty card Sandra, the colours are so delicate. Your Mum will love it. X

Great that Paul created a space for you to sow the seeds and do the potting on, getting all of these jobs done - well - it’s all about team work!!

Hope everyone has had a good day, I’ve been batch cooking. I always feel if I’m cooking I may as well use all of the oven. The extra goes into the freezer, always handy to have extra to hand.

Sleep well everyone, take care and stay safe. Love Brenda xxx
