Good Morning Ladies,
I am so glad that it is Friday, this week has been a funny one for me, I don't mean 'funny ha ha' either.
Hopefully the weekend we be relaxing and it will reset my mood, which in turn will bring my craft inspiration flooding back!
Do you all have plans for the weekend?? I think that the weather is supposed to be good, they speak of May being a record breaking month weather wise, not sure whether it's the driest May or if it's more to do with Temperature. Either way I believe that it has made the lockdown a whole lot more bearable. I think being able to get out in the garden really does relax your mind, listening to the birds singing is so relaxing itself, this past couple of days when I have been feeling low just sitting on the swing in the garden listening to the birds has really lifted my mood, we are lucky that their song is amplified as we really have very little traffic and being in the middle of nowhere means that there is very little background noise, apart from the very infrequent sound of a plane taking off from Fairford.
Your Next Challenge
So if you haven't guessed by the cards above, the theme for this weeks Challenge is 'Things With Wings'
Which means you can use pretty much anything with 'Wings' I can't help but chuckle to myself as both my girls and Sue had the same idea the last time we did this challenge, Sue even drew me a card to demonstrate, which I have kept and it makes me smile every time I get it out.
Aircraft
Bees, Bats,
Butterflies,
Dragonflies,
Fairies, Angels
Birds,
Owls
I'm sure there are more but my mind has gone blank!
I hope you enjoy the challenge and I can't wait to see your cards.
I hope that you all have a lovely weekend,
Love and HUGE hugs to all
Sandra

Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteSandra-great challenge for next week.
I agree with you about the weather making things easier. It’s been so lovely to be able to sit outside after work or go for a walk.
Today I’m heading in early as we still have the 2 prem babies requiring IV feeds and it’s quite a complex process to to input the chemical formula, each one if different for each baby each day. The. I have t PDR’s (appraisals) to do this morning. I also have a student plus a trainee with me at the moment-challenging times. Thank goodness it’s Friday!
Michele
Sounds like your having a busy time of it Michele. Pete was on feed bags back in 2002 for 3 weeks. They cost £150 each then. I’d hate to think what the cost is now.
DeleteMorning Everyone
ReplyDeleteA good Challenge for next week.Thinking cap will be going on and little grey cell woken up from its sleep.lol
We had yet another glorious day yesterday.Mr Tesco delivered just after 10.00 so that was good.I then seemed to wander around the house a little.
I must get my CCs sent off this morning and then get down to the 'swear' word. The washer is already churning away.
The CAFEis OPEN and tubs of ice cream are waiting to be eaten.
HUGS are winging their way to you all. PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFExxxx
Morning ladies,
ReplyDeleteGreat news in that Jamie's follow up appointment at Exeter Hospital yesterday went very well. They were very pleased with his progress and are now transferring his physiotherapy appts to Bridgwater Community Hospital. HUGE sigh of relief all round as the threat of amputation if any infection had gone into his broken bones has now gone away.
Finished the extra scrub tapes yesterday as planned only 45+ headbands to complete this afternoon. Then I think my sewing machine will have a much needed service and a long break.
Jamie has downloaded Zoom onto my computer so let me know when the next chat will be online. First I have to learn to drive it lol
Enjoy your weekend, I shall be in my craft room creating weird and wonderful things I think if the plans go to order.
Love 7 hugs

Hi Cheryl
DeleteA wonderful feat making all those scrubs & head bands.
Good news also about Jamie’s leg.
Take care.
Hi Cheryl. What good news about Jamie’s leg You can all breath a sigh of relief now x
DeleteGood news about Jamie, what a relief. Have a good day x
DeleteHi Sandra & ladies
ReplyDeleteGreat cards today. I might even have a couple of cards that would suit that I’ve finished. Fingers crossed that the weather stays nice as Phil next door said he’d hopefully cut my very long hedge on Saturday for me.
Well Chrone is no longer playing nice. I don’t know how long ago I changed to it on Michele’s advice when whatever it was before wouldn’t let me comment. Now I’m having to sign in with google every time. I’m just going to see if I can manually changed google back to patswitney.
Going to be another hot day I think. I’m popping over to my friends later for a safe distancing chat. Not a lot of people out clapping last night, but I heard on the news last night that the lady who originally thought of the idea thinks it should now stop.
A great challenge for this next week
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you about emotions/mood swings/mojo holidays I think we’re all having good and bad moments
Congratulations CHERYL on your achievements and so pleased to hear that JAMIE’s appointment went well
It’s gloriously sunny here today but feels a little cooler to me but that maybe because I accidentally left my craft room window open all night!
I might start a cc this afternoon and need to finish a crochet project So busy busy busy ๐๐
Take care all xx
Hi Sandra and all in he cafe today. I love the challenge. Like you it always brings a smile to my face thinking back to the last time ๐ I hope your mojo was just having a day off on Wednesday. I think we all have days like that at the moment, not surprising though is it. Enjoy listening to the birds. It is so relaxing listening them isn’t it. I love watching the Buzzards too that soar so high in the sky over our house. Have a good weekend my lovely xx
ReplyDeleteI have a card to make for a friend so will make that a challenge card. I must send you this weeks cc today too after I have done the ironing, luckily only a few bits so won’t get too hot!
Have a good day everyone. Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for Lynda, Mum and all in need. Take care xx
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteLovely inspiring cards for next week’s CC. So many things with wings, we are spoiled for choice, I have enough butterfly dies to open up a butterfly shop! Some I bought others were freebies with magazines, will have to dig deep and see what I can find.
What a lovely peaceful picture you paint in my mind when you describe sitting in your garden. Where we are, two houses down from the busy A23, you always have the sound of traffic. The shops that once upon a time made the area feel like a village, have mostly been taken over by hairdressers, take away food and second hand car sales, not forgetting Tesco Express and filling station on the opposite side at the top of our road. Now compare that to your picture!!! Don’t get me wrong I love our house......but would love to pick it up and move it to the countryside. Anyway I will continue to count my blessings.
Hope you are all able to enjoy this lovely weather, take care and stay safe.
Love Brenda xxx
Hi Everyone.
ReplyDeleteNice cards Sandra and lovely idea for next weeks cc.
Yes, it lift our moods being outdoors listening to the bird singing (not so much when magpies fighting) Beautiful day and pretty warm so sitting in the shade and doing some crosswords to keep the brain working. Had my sister on the phone for 2 hours this morning too. She forgot my birthday, way too busy with two lots of puppies. That's done anyway for a few months.
Putting this week cc together later when it's a bit cooler, never got around doing it yesterday.
Hoping everything you do today will work out and you can all have a nice evening. Hugs to you all, Maria xx
Hi everyone.

Must send in my challenge card and make a start on a couple of requested cards.
Hope you’re all having a good day and enjoying the lovely weather. Hugs to all xxx
