Something Old/Something New Challenge card

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you all had a lovely relaxed weekend,  ours was totally relaxed, which we both needed.

Janet, I hope that you arrived safely and that everything was ok after being empty for so long. It must feel so lovely to be back at your special place

Today's card I made yesterday afternoon using Stampin Up  'Merriest Moments ' stamp, die and embossing folder.   I embossed white card, the emboss was lovely and crisp, I stamped and die cut the Poinsettia and leaves and arranged them in the corner of the embossed piece, I layered onto Blushing Bride card to match the flowers,  the sentiment was stamped in that colour to tie everything together.  A little faceted pearl finishes the flower off.  Now I have finally used this collection I can't wait to play with if again.

I hope that you all have a lovely day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra                                                                                xxxxxx

  4. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today. What a beautiful card. The embossing really is so crisp isn’t it. I know you usually use Pink Frog Super smooth card since you tried it and found it to be great card. Did you use it for this card? Glad to know you and Paul had a relaxing / recovering weekend xx
It is wet and windy at the moment but nowhere near as bad as it was last week thankfully. Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for all in need. Take care xx

  5. Bon Jour
Sorry I'm late today but we are now settled in and everything is in place.
We had a good journey to Dover and an excellent sailing across. The weather was veryThe log burner had been lit from early in the day and our wonderful Friend had been and cleaned the house from top to bottom and put one or two eats in the fridge. We are so lucky that both of them have kept the garden and the house tidy etc for the last two years and so it was just as if we had been in the Summer.

We have to visit the supermarket tomorrow and then of course on Friday it will be Market day in Corbigny and cake day!!! I'm sorry that I'll not be able to take part in this week's Challenge but should be ready for the next one.

  7. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Lovely card today Sandra, the EF works perfectly with the design and the colours are so fresh.

Been very lazy today, had one of so those nights where you wake up every few hours for no reason at all, we did get up as normal but an hour or two in bed would have probably been more sensible.

Janet so pleased you arrived safely and your journey was uneventful, what lovely thoughtful neighbours you have making your home feel as though you had only recently been there. It must have felt so welcoming. Enjoy your lovely home from home.

Take care everyone, hugs Brenda xxx
