Good Morning Ladies,
How are you all today? The weather yesterday was lovely, we had a lovely walk around London, there was a lot going on, magic shows, someone doing a great job of copying Dire Staits songs, it creates such a lovely atmosphere, there is always an amazing singer enjoying the great acoustics of a downstairs cafe in Covent Garden. We found an amazing Doughnut shop on our way back to the hotel, so we both treated ourselves...
They were amazing π!! We went to a steak restaurant where you cook your steak yourself on a thick metal block, we have been before and loved it, of course it didn't disappoint!!
We then made our way to the Sondheim theatre to see ....
Today's Card was quite a quick card, I made it using some Magazine freebie dies, you get a background die and then the letters (only NOEL'), So I decided to go for ' cherry cobbler ink, Red velvet card and an Embossed piece of cream card. I actually really like how it turned out. Quite simple really. I am looking forward to seeing your Challenge XXX
I hope that you a have an amazing day,
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra

ReplyDeleteI have never seen Les Miz and to be perfectly honest it’s not one that I particularly fancy It would be boring if we were all the same
Your card is great I love it
Oscar had a nasty fall yesterday which is a bit worrying aHe seems fine but because of his learning disability it’s hard to tell
I didn’t get to start a cc yesterday It seems my mojo is taking a breather

DeleteHello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteLovely card today Sandra, you have made the NOEL really stand out with the seasonal background (was thar part of the magazine freebie?) love it all … mind you every time I have looked at the card my eyes and tummy are quickly drawn to the doughnuts, as it happens I am sitting here with a cup of coffee beside me - but no doughnut!
I’m so pleased the weather was kind to you yesterday, today in outer
London we started off with rain but it dried up quickly and now is bright and the sun is shining π€it the same in town. Have a lovely day. xx
Nothing much happening now, this morning we went to the supermarket and stocked up. But the rest of the day ….. who knows, thinking about my CC. I will take it as the mood takes me.
Karen hop Oscar is alright after his nasty fall yesterday and your mojo returns soon.
Janet hope you will be able to organise all of your packing by Thursday morning, my OH usual issues similar statements. I’ve learned to have a big handbag as a standby (it has never clicked with him that I almost always use a small handbag) so if I realise I want to take something else it goes in there.
Take care everyone, hope you are having a good day. Hugs Brenda xxx
Hello from a very wet and windy Cornwall, the rain early this morning was torrential.
ReplyDeleteIt makes such a noise hammering on our velux windows.
Sandra lovely card, I like traditional colours for Christmas, love the way the NOEL stands out.
Spent this morning making cards for the “bin” , I keep managing to smudge my ink, think I will dig out my pastels this afternoon.
Hope you have better weather than we have Sandra and you are enjoying your time in London. Yummy looking doughnuts, I see today you have three in your box !
Have a good PM ladies, hugs to all, Janet hope the packing goes well. Lilian
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA lovely traditional card today, and great magazine freebies π
Oooh those doughnuts are making my mouth water, they look delicious π
So glad you enjoyed the show last night, sounds wonderful and a fantastic atmosphere π Hope you have a lovely day today too xx
Karen, I hope Oscar is ok, and your mojo returns soon xx
Janet, good luck with the rest of the packing xx
Brenda, we’ve had the same weather here today, rain first thing and now sunny. It’s still a bit breezy though xx
Lilian, hope the rain has cleared up where you are and hope your crafting is going a bit better. So frustrating when the ink smudges, can you cover it with something - maybe a sentiment or some sort of embellishment xx
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today. I love your card. A traditional style and colours and it all looks beautiful. I have the same magazine but don’t think I have opened it yet. Glad you both enjoyed Les Mis last night. I hope you haven’t had same weather as us as it has been both very hard rain and gales since yesterday xx
ReplyDeleteKaren, I hope Oscar is ok, bless him xx
Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for all in need. Take care xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLovely traditional card, nice freebie.
Oh those donuts look so so yummy, sure they tasted great.
Glad you liked the show, one of my favourites. Will never forget seeing it in New York with Alfie Boe, it was amazing!
Janet- hopefully you get it all packed by tomorrow morning. You taking some crafting stuff with you or do you have things already in place ? Drive safe!!
Karen- I hope Oscar is alright and didn't hurt himself too badly. Hope you mojo returns asap.
Weather here has been very weird today with horrendous downpours and then glorious sunshine in between but I didn't see much of it for tiredness took over. It was impossible to keep my eyes open for any longer time so my day today has been in the land of nod. Hate days like this for had thought of doing cc and some birthday cards finished but got nothing done, so frustrating.
Hope your day have been fine and the night be good to you all. Many hugs Maria xx
