Good Morning Ladies,
Another week thats whizzing by, I was in 'zombie' mode most of yesterday as I had another rough night, I was still awake when Paul's alarm went off at 5am, thing is by then I am really frustrated as well as being over tired, the worst thing is trying not to disturb Paul while I am tossing and turning trying to get to sleep. I ended up doing few 'Sudoku ' puzzles on my phone, thinking that tgst would help me relax and fall asleep. Annoyingly I physically couldn't keep my eyes open in the lounge before bed. Fingers crossed for a better night tonight.
Today's card is a super simple stamped card using one ink colour a stamp and sentiment. I stamped the foliage stamp a few times in both 1st & 2nd generation ink. The colour I used is Mossy Meadow, I added the sentiment in the same colour. Now while trimming my piece down I ruined it !!! 😪 i made 2 little smudges, i was so frustrated, then I had an idea.... What if I just add some tiny splatters all over the card...it worked, ao keep that as a top tip !!
I matted the piece onto Mossy Meadow card and then onto a white card base.
We went to the Cinema to see James Bond last night, it was brilliant, very long but a really good story, I am not a Bond fan at all but i really enjoyed it.
I hope that you all have a lovely day,
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra

Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteLove today’s card. I had to smile as I was looking at this lovely card thinking - it’s timeless, elegant and classy then I scrolled down to read the comments and it was almost the same as Karen had said.
Had a text today saying to book an appointment for my winter flu vaccination with my surgery. Gave them a ring and was told the text was from the NHS not the surgery and they haven’t got the vaccine for the over 50s yet, try back next week.
Hope you have all had a good day, we did the weekly shopping, that’s about as exciting as it gets!
Take care, love Brenda xxx
Hello, just remembered that I hadn’t come in to say hello.
ReplyDeleteSandra love your card, I have managed to do to this card, I’ll send it tomorrow, was hoping to do something a bit “grungy, but it looks like all that I do.
Managed to get a load of washing dry, so that’s my task for first thing tomorrow, have set my self a goal to keep the ironing up to date.
Hope you all have a good night, Sandra hope you managed to get some sleep after this morning’s debacle with the tree surgeon. Lilian
