Your Challenge Cards

Good Morning Ladies,

Another amazing line up of Challenge cards from you amazingly talented ladies, You have all interpreted the challenge in your own way and these stunning cards are the result, so without further delay, lets see what you have been creating...…

Brenda

Brenda has created a stunning 'Nativity' Scene on her Christmas card, adding a little decoupage for dimension, your card is just stunning Brenda, the embossing has picked up every tiny bit of detail.
Thank you so much for a simple yet stunning card.

Janet

Janet has created four Simple cards for our Challenge this week, each one using either One die set or One stamp set, the first is a lovely, detailed die cut card, very pretty.  The second has a real Scandinavian look, again from a die, what could be simpler?!  The third card also looks a little Scandinavian to me, I love that die and the glitter card really sets it off.
The last card has a gorgeous stamp, so much detail in one stamp, love the sentiment too.
Thank you so much for taking part and making so many cards my lovely.

Karen

Karen has also created 4 incredible cards for our 'Simple' Challenge,

"The first is a shaker card that I saw Leonor Pugal do something similar on Hochanda this afternoon with some Memory Box dies
The second is the waste from the first and with the letters removed and put back into the first
I hope that made sense"

Card 3:
I used a piece of the alcohol and pens technique on photo paper speckled with white ink
My favourite freebie die mounted onto blue card.

The Last card was made using a Tattered Lace die that Karen bought some time ago, simple die cut in gold, shadowed with black and trimmed down to fit a 6 X 4 card.

Thank you so much Karen for 4 incredible cards, all completely different and fantastic!!

Lilian

Thank you so much for another amazing Challenge card Lilian.

 lynda

Lynda has made four gorgeous cards for our 'Simple' Challenge, all I have to say is "I thought you would find this challenge difficult Lynda, being the queen of embellishments, but you have made four stunning cards" !!!
Lynda's first card uses the Stampin'Up Dahlia Stamp, stamped in Navy, with a lovely sentiment to finish.
The second card features a lovely background paper with a beautiful Silhouette Die Cuts added, simple but amazingly effective, love the monochrome look.
The third card uses the Stampin Up Springtime Thinlits, Lynda has die cut them out of paper that she has coloured herself. again finished with a simple die cut sentiment.
The fourth and final card features the stunning "Very Vintage" Stamp, with the lovely ''One of the best things in life is you" sentiment.

Lynda thank you so much for four amazing challenge cards.

Michele

Michele this card is amazing, I absolutely love it!  I think it looks like a 'High End' department store card.  Sometimes it is the simplest of designs that make the greatest impression.
Thank you so much for taking part Michele.

Val, I love your design, you have used one of 'those' amazing embossing folders, topped with a Sue Wilson frame with that Amazing 25th Dec die cut, I just love that die Val, I think its that lovely font.

  1. Morning Everyone
WOW what a glorious array of CCs this week and of course once again not one resembling another. They all are works of art.

Sorry I didn't get in yesterday but this laptop of mine has had a couple of days where it really has been misbehaving itself. Yesterday morning it was telling me that it had loaded my homepage but all I could get was a white screen and nothing else and I couldn't access any of my programmes either. Don't you just love this 'technical age'!!!

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments about my crackers and memory book all of which I thoroughly enjoyed making. The small crackers are for K&N when we go out to lunch on the 18th Dec. I shall put a little Chocolate inside each one.

SANDRA- of course I'll cut you some of the dies for the large triangle box. I'll do it this week.

The CAFE is OPEN and waiting. Looking lovely with all the cards on the board. Today's Sunday Lunch menu is Roast Chicken so place your orders asap.
HUGS are winging their way to you all. Take care and stay safe. xxxx

    1. Hi Janet
I just loved your small crackers and what a lovely idea to put a chocolate in and give as a present, or even a table decoration. I would think the Die would be quite expensive to buy as it’s probably a tonic Die. Your memory book is fabulous, what a great idea these are.
Yes please, chicken for me as Pete isn’t eating much so I’m not cooking a Sunday lunch today.

  3. Morning Ladies

What a fantastic selection of challenge cards today, all beautiful. My card is a “design” I was shown many years ago by a lovely lady called Sue who used to run a craft shop called Stampers Gallery in Tarleton. She used to run classes and they were brilliant.

Yesterday I made the massive sum of £14:50 at the Car Boot Sale-was it worth it?? Probably not but 2 people who bought things were interested in other goodies I said I’d be taking to the January Sale so fingers crossed.

It was such a lovely day (weather wise) yesterday that me & hubby walked down to the beach and went beach combing as there’s been a high tide. We didn’t find any treasures but it was fun. We have another sunny day here today but not feeling too energetic so it might be a craft room day once I’ve done all the housework.

  5. Hi ladies,
As usual all the cards are stunning. This challenge certainly got our brains working.

PAT Good luck this coming week for both you and PETE. Sending hugs.x

MICHELE. £14.50 is better than nothing and sounds as though you January sale could be successful. Enjoy a relaxing day.x

I'm mostly in my craft room today catching up in non-Christmas cards. Also, bnow don't laugh, I'm going to route out the Valentine things. In an
ideal world I'd like to have the cards made before Christmas but it's not going to happen.

    Have a lovely Sunday everyone.
JANET could you book me in for Sunday lunch around one? Hope we've got stuffing. X

    Love Valx

    1. Hi Val
Sounds like your going to be busy having to make cards so far in advance. Pete has blood transfusions on Mon & Tues. Plus 2 people coming from Sobell house on Thursday. Physios as far as I can remember.

  6. Hi Sandra and ladies
Well I did try and comment yesterday. Blogger has gone back to comment as google account which means I have to prove I wasn’t a robot. I ticked a load of boxes for twenty goes and it still wouldn’t go.
Fabulous cards yesterday ladies and today. Love the simple look cards.
Had a lovely day yesterday. However, Craig and family came over to see Pete. Got fish and chips for tea, ( Pete just had a few chips as he didn’t really feel like eating. I’d left him a meal but that will be going in the bin. So I came home to a pile of washing up. Pete said they offered to wash up but Pete said leave it. Now I wouldn’t have even asked I have just done it. Plus they hadn’t washed any of the plates off so tomato sauce etc was stuck on.
Well here goes. I wonder if I can get it to publish today.
