Triple stamping technique

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, we had another really mixed day weather wise, Paul and I got a couple of jobs done in the garden before he left for work, after that I spent the entire afternoon in my craft room, playing with the 'Stamp a Ring' that I bought recently and also playing with my new Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink, trying it with some of the other colours.

I then sat down and decided on which new technique to use for my next card. I decided to try the Triple Stamping Technique, I have tried a few times and not had great success, so I chose my stamp and intended to do a trial run but my trial run turned out perfect so I just went with that one.

I cut three pieces of white card ....

2 x 3 1/4 inches

3 x 4 1/4 inches

4 x  5 1/4 inches

I also cut some Misty Moonlight card and 1/4 each bigger than the white card.

I used some temporary tape to adhere the 3 white pieces together and placed them into my stamp platform, I inked up the Pink Frog Chrysanthemum stamp with Misty Moonlight ink and stamped it around my white card pieces.  I masked off all the flowers and used a background stamp to give some interest to the background of the card.  To colour the flowers I used Seaside Spray Stampin Blends in Dark and light shades.

I wanted the card to shine so kept the sentiment small and to the point.

I also stamped a matching insert, I am trying to stamp them when I make the card as its easier to do when I have the same stamps and inks out!!

So that's new technique mumber 4 this week, I have thoroughly enjoyed trying new things.

I hope that you all have a lovely day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra                                                                                xxxxxx

Yesterday afternoon turned out to be lovely We decided to go for a walk to the local chemists (sorry I just can’t get my head around the word - pharmacy) and as we approached the small parade of shops daughter and Oscar were getting out of the car to go to post office She asked is back to hers for a cuppa I, of course, jumped at the chance!
If weather stays fine we are hoping to test run the new BBQ We haven’t cooked like this in over 10 years!
    Take care all xx

  3. Hi everyone
Love your beautiful card today. I was thinking of trying the triple stamping technique too, as I’m not really happy with what I’ve done so far! But will see if time allows.
Didn’t do too well with my crafting yesterday, but I did get to have a little play with my new Speckled Egg distress oxide and I love it.
Have a good day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx

Love the colour that you’ve used on the card Sandra.
It’s quite sunny out today, but still a bit breezy. I’m not to sure how long that’s going to last.
Must finish off putting the compost in the ablong pot I used last year and hopefully get the strawberry plants put in.
Take care & stay safe everyone.

Pat, hope you get the plants in today. Thinking of having some strawberries too this year, so nice to pick your own.
Sue, hope you find The dress. A place we have here that seem to be good is a shop called Phase Eight, not sure if you have one near you ? Cortisone injection went well. Never tho had a doctor/specialist before which only asked questions and that was it, no small talk at all so it was a bit weird Lol
    Janet ,hope you alright ?
Cheryl, hoping everything is fine with you too and to anyone looking in 😊
Sonia- hopefully we can both get something together today for CC. My brain is all over the place for what to do next, maybe to many choices....😁

  8. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Lovely card Sandra, I have made a similar card ages ago and was pleased with the results.

I actually made it into the craft room but couldn’t find the mojo, I was looking around for ideas and inspiration, but ended up with backache and had to have a sit down. So nothing really achieved.... on the positive side I did start thinking about it, so maybe tomorrow 🤞

Sandra your ‘Stamp a ring’ is very clever. I never seen these before. I find it amazing the ideas people come up with.

Time to make a move and get dinner going.
    Have a lovely evening,
Take care everyone, love Brenda xxx
