Good Sunday Morning Ladies,
I hope that you all enjoyed the warm day yesterday, we were a bit cloudy and overcast but it was really pleasant to be out in the garden. We popped put to a village plant sale and then had to go and get some Gro Bags and some pots for my grasses that have really outgrown their original pots. We spent the rest of the day in the garden.
Now let's look at what you have all been creating....
Brenda
Brenda's Description:
This is a challenge card, I did make a second one but not happy with it. You will recognise the die I just can’t put it down it’s so lovely, I’ve had the ombré backing paper for ever! I just gave it a little more Ingres using a Julie Hickey stencil.
Oh Brenda I totally get why you love this stamp set, it's one of my favourites too. I love the colours you have used too thank you so much for taking part XXX
Lilian
"This is my attempt at a tag, Stamperia papers as usual.
Thought I would make more over time and mount them on a canvas, as I have loads of cards already finished. That way I get to keep my own art work."

Karen
Karen's Description:
Card 1: Oh well I’ve had a go It took me all afternoon to decide what colour to back it all Kraft card seemed too pale to show the stitching (die) So one page of the Stamperia papers and the dies are either x-cut or do-crafts.
Card 2:
The 4x6 card is almost a copy of a Julie Hickey design I used card that had been Pixie Powdered I stamped the Daisy Tag twice and cut out A Honey Doo cabochon in the centre I had already printed the sentiment and also used pale pink pearls
Oh Karen I love your Mixed Media piece, those Stamperia papers are beautiful, I love the stitch die you have used too. It looks so realistic. All of the elements work together perfectly. Your second card is lovely, so colourful too, I have this stamp and I have lacked inspiration, you have inspired me to get it out and have a play, thank you XXX

Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic selection of challenge cards today. Thank you Karen for suggesting it.
I had a lovely morning catching up with my friend, there were no outside tables left so we were indoors but it was well organised and not busy.
Managed to get lots of washing dry yesterday and there’s more already to go outside now. We have glorious sunshine although I’m not sure how much gardening we’ll be doing as hubby has to pull out of his golf competition yesterday as his shoulder was was painful. Luckily he has another physio appointment on Friday.
Michele

I had a bag from Spain similar to your friend’s probably PAT and I loved it I used it for years and so much that it eventually wore out So I am pleased that I have managed to replace it sort of
We’re off to my sister in law’s later OH borrowed one of my masks last night and as I haven’t got to cook today I am going to make a couple for him!

Hi Maria. It sounds like your sons girlfriend is nice. How lovely to get a chance to get to know her xx
DeleteHi Ladies
ReplyDeleteSome lovely cards on display today. Love the different type of tags that you’ve all used. I did send Sandra 3 tag cards that I’d previously done. Sandra might have showed those before though. A bit foggy, Breezy and dull this morning. Fingers crossed it brightens up later. I’d bought a rose which I planted yesterday. I think I need to get some more manure and I had to put it in a bigger pot than I originally thought. It has loads of buds on so I’ll send Sandra a picture when it’s out.
Hope you can stay away from the hoarders of people in Cornwall this weekend Lilian. I expect it will be busy where you are as well Michele.
Take care & stay safe everyone.
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful selection of challenge cards, all so lovely and inspiring. Sonia what a good idea to start on your Christmas card now, that’s what I call being organised.
It was lovely yesterday to be able to watch our daughters goddaughter getting married on live streaming, She looks so beautiful and really happy.
It was lovely you were able to spend the whole day in the garden yesterday with Paul yesterday Sandra, I bet you both feel you’re living the good life!! It’s so satisfying when you can reap the fruits of your labour. These days I only grow tomatoes, I have strawberry’s in pots and containers around the top (sunny end) of the garden. They are enough to keep me busy.
We have lovely sunshine again today my plan is to go outside and tackle a few areas once I’ve finished this post.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend, love Brenda xxx

Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA lovely selection of tags/cards today, they’re beautiful 😊
Sorry I’m so late, worked until 3.30pm then straight home to change and off to my brothers. Not been home long. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in the sun, although turned a bit chilly when the sun went down.
I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend. Sending hugs to you all xxx
