Your Next Challenge....

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, we had a very icy start to the day yesterday, the sun did burn through the fog though, so it was a lovely bright day but very cold.
I am hoping that we will have good driving weather this morning ready for our Journey to Watford, I am really looking forward to seeing those of you that can make it today x

Your Next Challenge

Karen suggested our Challenge this week, it's a really good Challenge, I believe it is certainly something that we can all manage quite easily and you could even make Christmas Cards for this challenge!!
So what is it I hear you ask?????

Karen would like you all to make card or cards making the Sentiment the Main Focus of the card.

I used an old embossing folder that has different 'Birthday' greetings all over it, I used Bermuda Bay card an ink for this card, I stamped my 'Happy Birthday' onto white card, and trimmed it to the same width as the embossed piece, I then die cut and attached two little Border Detail die cuts, cut in the same Bermuda Bay card, it just kind of finishes the sentiment strip and frames the piece.
Framing the sentiment makes it more of a feature too.
To finish I added some clear crystal gems to the dots on that border strip, to give a touch of luxury and then I decided to add a couple of little flowers on the top and  bottom of the sentiment strip.

So I think that it's the Sentiment that draws your eye on this card, do you?

I have some cards in my files from older cards that fit this challenge so I will add them to the Blog tomorrow.

Thanks so much Karen for coming up with a great challenge, I can't wait to see what everyone makes! XXX

*********

I hope that you are all ready for the weekend, what do you all have planned?  Not much going on here, I need to record my video for 'inlovearts' but apart from that we don't have too much on.

I will tell you all about our Watford Meet up tomorrow,

Sending special hugs to Our Lynda, who is now back home, rest my lovely and get well soon XXX

Margaret, special hugs to you too, you will be missed today my lovely XXX

Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone else,

Sandra

  3. Morning Ladies,

Enjoy your meet-up in Watford, I expect there will be plenty of chatting and catching up.

I've read all your remarks about your bad weather over the last couple of days. we have had the most marvellous mild sunny all day weather here in the South West. I needed to change some medicines as was given the wrong aspirin, took time whilst in town to pick up some bargains from Home Bargains and saw a young teenager sauntering over the bridge with shorts and t-shirt on. I still have my thinner fleece tops on lol Today is back to the grey blanket clouds, not a sign of the sun but it could brighten up later.

Gurt big hugs to Lynda, glad to read yo are back home.

    Love 7 hugs
