Your Challenge cards

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well and enjoying the weekend.

I have another fantastic display of cards to inspire you all.
So lets get straight on with the show.......

Lynda

Lynda created this beautiful card for this weeks Sketch Challenge, using the gorgeous Garden Impressions papers from Stampin'Up!  The papers do most of the work, Lynda has added three pretty John Lockwood butterflies all die cut in the same papers, so that they match perfectly.  Lynda matted these beautiful papers onto soft pink glitter card and gold mirror card.
A amazing card Lynda, thank you so much for taking part.

It uses Gold Foil card and a lovely gold spotted card too, Lorraine used the Starburst punch for the sentiment with a die cut circle with the sentiment 'Enjoy the Simple things' stamped on it.  The finishing touches are 3 gold foil stars, 3 tiny foil hearts on the sentiment too.

  1. Morning Everyone

A lovely selection of cards for this Ceek's Challenge making the CAFE so colourful and welcoming.

I cannot believe that we're starting our last week here so it's going to be manic as we'll not be back until next year. Doesn't that sound odd. The weather has really changed well and truly into Autumn. It was decidedly chilly all day yesterday and the garden is fast becoming a carpet of glorious browns/golds.

Have a good Sunday everyone. I'm sure MARGARET will have a lovely roast dinner ready for you all.

HUGS are on their way to you all. Take care everyone xxxx

  2. Morning Ladies

What a great selection of challenge cards today. I loved this sketch but my mind went blank when it came to making a card!
As Sandra mentioned-my craft room is in serious need of a de-clutter session! Hubby is away 2 nights next week do my plan is to use his office as a temporary storage area and go through everything!!! Well-that’s the plan.
Went to see F in Law yesterday afternoon-he was asleep when we got there but we managed to wake him then my M in L arrived so we had a good chat.. we didn’t leave until quite late as we got blocked in the car park which was annoying.
We ha e a nice day here weather wise today so we’ll ge doing some gardening this afternoon.

    1. Hi Karen. Both of your CC's are gorgeous, but must admit the Christmas card is my favourite as I love everything on it. To answer your question on Friday yes it is texture not embossing paste! Sorry to mislead you, several tutorials called it the wrong type too so totally confused me (really not hard now😝) I will let you know the "recipe" anyway so you can have a play x

  6. Hi everyone,

As usual a blog full of beautiful cards. Thank you Sandra for setting such a lovely challenge. Shame I'll miss the additional one for Wednesday this week. Hope you're feeling ok now after your nasty infection.x

Had a lovely day with Barrie and DIL yesterday. Amongst having lunch out and doing some shopping we went to Liverpools wonderful museum to see an exhibition of the Terracotta Army. It was fantastic and so informative. Afterwards we watched Chinese dancers and singers performing a short show. It was a lovely morning out. Helen, my DIL is now sadly in a wheelchair all the time. So sad to see but she seems quite positive. Maybe it's an act for my benifit, just don't know.
Anyway we're off out for Sunday lunch later. Sorry Margaret, I won't be calling in today.

Hugs to all. Have a lovely Sunday.
    Love Valx

    1. Hi Val. Its great to hear you had a lovely day out with son and DIL yesterday. It is hard to see loved ones having to use a wheelchair isn't it but at least your Dil can get out and about with you all and a positive attitude will help her so much. ThereTis no doubt that you will enjoy lunch out and whatever else you do today as it will be with your son and family 😊 x

    4. Hi Val
I’m sorry to hear that your DIL needs to use a wheelchair now. But good that she has a positive attitude.
Didn’t realise that the exhibition was still in Liverpool. They’re one of the things I’d love to see. Must have a look to see how long the exhibition will run for. Enjoy the rest of your stay in the UK.

  8. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Another brilliant display of your challenge cards. It’s a real treat to open the blog on Sunday and look at all of the beautiful works of art. xx

I’m still haveing problems posting my messages, I have now realised I can leave messages on other blogs, but can’t work out why I can’t post this blog. Anyway for now I will have to be anonymous!!!

We have granddaughter Ciara coming for a sleepover. She wants to go to Oxford Street tomorrow, she is a real shopaholic and so excited at the thought of going into London. Her mums office is in London and she goes into London several days each week (that’s when she isn’t travelling up and down the country for her work) she can’t understand why Ciara wants to go into the city. I explained when I first came down south from the midlands, I would go up the city on my day off (that’s if I could afford the train fare) and just walk around looking at the sights and the shops, I was in heaven.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend, take care, Love and hugs, Brenda xxx
