We will Remember Them
Good Morning Ladies,
Before I start today's post I would like to pause and think about those that gave their lives so that we can live freely. We will always Remember them !
Ladies I know that like me you are all thinking about Sue, Pops and the family following the passing of our Dear Friend Margaret, the only comfort that we all have is knowing that she is no longer in pain, Sue our thoughts are with you all.
Today's card is made using the 'Pretty Gets Gritty' Drawing Stencil that I bought ages ago and hadn't got around to using yet. I stamped the Floral spray (also Pretty Gets Gritty) and coloured the image with my Zig Clean Colour pens. I allowed the colours to dry before laying the Diamond stencil/Pen Guide over my stamped image, I then took a 0.5 Fine Liner pen and traced the Diamond and then went round adding the dots
Here is a close up of the stencilled area.
I actually really like the effect, it really draws your eye into the image. So I must endeavour to use them more.
Morning Everyone
ReplyDeleteToday is a day when we ALL must stop and remember ALL who have given everything that we have the lives we live today.
YOU WI LL ALWAYS BE REMEMBEERED.
SUE/POPS My thoughts and love go out to you both. MARGARET I never got to meet but she was my Friend always.
HUGS are winging their way to you all.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx
Good morning Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a day to pause for thought, so many people who sacrifice their life to try and improve ours. Yes we will always remember them. Also remembering our lovely Margaret such a thoughtful, talented and gifted lady. ❤️🌺
Lovely card today Sandra, the diamond stencil certainly adds interest and draws your eye in. Why haven’t I noticed this Great stencil before? I’m a bit slow really just need someone to show me how to use things. Ha ha
Up an organised early today as I’m going out to lunch, John has popped up to London to take Dominic part of his birthday present that didn’t show up in time. We had issues with Royal mail but that’s all sorted out now, and he did have half his present on the day. Just another way of stretching his birthday out.
Better get a wiggle on I’ll catch up with you all later and see what you’re doing. Sending hugs to all who are feeling under the weather.
Stay safe, Love Brenda XXX

Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteWe will remember them….❤️
Myself and a few colleagues were able to observe the 2 minutes silence at 11am. It makes me emotional, remembering all those who have fought for our freedom - we will never forget.
Thinking of our Sue, Pops and family at this sad time, and sending hugs. Sadly, I hadn’t met Margaret, but she was a great part of this wonderful blog family.
Love your pretty card today, and the stencil really showcases the stamp 😊
Still trying to get this weeks card done after struggling with what to do. My efforts nearly ended up in the bin yesterday, but I will persevere.
Have a good day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
