I spent a good few hours sorting through different 'Bit Box's' deciding to Colour Code them, why is it that when we start these things they always take so much longer than we anticipate! I thought that I would spend an hour sorting through the various boxes (I have about 8) and then get on and make a card. It was 4pm before I even started the card.
I got the inspiration for this card from a card I saw on Pinterest, which I need at the moment! The bits I used are from a My Minds Eye paper pad (6 x 6) that I used probably years ago, I love their paper pads but they went on the 'back burner' while I was doing Stampin' Up!
They are all so bright and cheerful and have such lovely designs, I used an old Embossing folder that I had to give some background detail and matted and layered onto some coordinating card.
I know that we like to get the Soap Box out to have a moan and complain, (as I did earlier this week).
I would like to get up on that Soap Box and shout about great service for a change...…..
Paul decided that we needed a new Vacuum cleaner, so after a lot of research (Paul loves to research)! He decided to get a GTECH AirRam K9 (for the Pet hair) we got a System that came with an Upright cleaner and a Hand held (stick) cleaner too.
We ordered it at 6,45pm on Tuesday evening and it was delivered at a little after 7am on Wednesday morning, free delivery too! Thats Service for you!
Sophie and Lucy vacuumed just about everything in site, including their cars with it. The Vacuum cleaner part is so light and easy to move around, so for us its, so far so good!!
Please feel free to Sing The Praises of anyone that you have received great service from, Craft related or otherwise!
I hope that you all have a lovely day,
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra

Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteSandra-love your card, it’s so bright & cheerful. Perfect use of “bits”. I know exactly what you mean about things taking so long-I was trying to reorganise my craft storage yesterday but I ended up leaving everything as it was because I just couldn’t decide what was better!
Today I have an emergency dentist appointment (10am) and a new washing machine being delivered -between 10:35-14:35... odd times!
Nice to hear about good service Sandra.
Michele

Morning Ladies,
ReplyDeleteA cooler cloudier start to today but that humidness is still in the air. Hope my breathing is better today, I have been struggling with the higher temperatures so much in fact that my windows are open as soon as I get up and the blinds stay drawn to keep as much as the sun out as possible.
Glad to see you bought the GTECH, I hope my recommendations a few weeks ago on here helped in your decision. I am still impressed at the speediness in which received mine despite me ordering on a Bank Holiday Monday and it being delivered after 7am the next day.Mine is parked upstairs and my dusting + vacuuming done in a matter of minutes. My craft room has never been so cleaner and tidier before hahaha
Busy day today, Specsavers in half hour, lunch with former workmates at twelve then a cracking start to get my challenge card done and Chloe's mini baby album finished this afternoon. Yesterday's crafting was for the challenge on Riley/Rose which is now packed ready to go to my swap partner.
I'm am so far ahead of myself this month already in my craft tasks, I am amazed I've got back to being methodical in my approach to crafting that leaves me more 'me time' especially as Wimbledon Fortnight is my main wind down time for me to relax and enjoy somebody else's exertions. I love this fortnight off?
Gurt big uns today for all in need of one
Love 7 hugs

Hi Sandra and ladies
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card Sandra. My bit box is full to over flowing with cuts outs that I’ve done and never used. Hope Matt is progressing well on his antibiotics.
Hope your appointment went ok yesterday Lilian, or was it today. I’m not to sure where my brain disappears to sometimes.
Oh Lynda how lovely that you have a wheelchair to wiss around in. Try not to get into to much mischief once you’ve got the hang of using it. Gentle hugs coming your way. I’ve just done a pile of ironing Lynda so I gave myself a pat on the back as I’m not fond of ironing.
Oh yes meant to say I bought 3 Agapanthus Twister from Jersey Plants Direct through Robert Dyas online. Yes I did say Robert Dyas, I was amazed as well. Well 1 of them is thriving and the other 2 don’t seem to be growing at all. Well I emailed them directly last night. They emailed back to say they can’t replace them as they’re now coming to the end of the season. But they’ll ask Robert Dyas to refund me in full. Great service or what.
Sending hugs to anyone that needs one today.
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspiring card Sandra, I have ‘this EF and really love it, brilliant for quick birthday cards and so versatile.
Hope Matt is improving and responding well to the antibiotics.
So pleased you like your new Gtech. We bought one about two months ago, it’s brilliant, I couldn’t believe how much it picked up, we had (have) an upright Dyson and a V6 animal, which wasn’t holding its charge. Dyson wanted £60+ for a new battery. We both felt it was better to put that money to a new machine and get the warranty. Lakeland stock Gtech so we popped over to Wimbledon to have a look. I also had a £10 voucher and a return for £27, so it made sense to go there as the price was exactly the same as online. The next day (Saturday) in our newspaper supplement Gtech had an advert for exactly the same cleaner we had bought PLUS a free car cleaning kit, John being John rang Gtech and said we had bought the same AirRam the previous afternoon, the person he spoke to asked if we had registered the warranty yet? no we hadn’t, well if you register it now we will send you a car cleaning tools kit for free. It arrived just after 10am the next day ...Sunday. I agree Gtech give a really great service. I also have a Gtech strimmer, which I use at the cemetery to keep the area around my parents grave tidy, I would also give that a massive thumbs up.
Lynda Hope you enjoy your trip out, have you got L plates for Terry? xx
Take care everyone, Love Brenda xxx
We stupidly bought a Dyson to replace one that had broken I am not happy with it and like rends it doesn’t seem to hold its charge very well OH keeps moaning and every time the advert comes on he keeps saying “that’s what we should have bought!” So I will bear your comments next time we buy a vacuum cleaner - if only I’d known 6 months ago!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra & ladies
ReplyDeleteWell not sure why but my comment is missing again I know I'm getting senile but I know I did one earlier before I went in craft room.
It was lovely to get out yesterday for some fresh air. Today after house work we took two tops back to Primark & another trip in wheelchair, ♿I think CU needs a sat nav. 🤣🤣 It's strange how you buy three tops all the same size & one fitted fine & two didn't fit. Anyway I found two swap but tryed them on this time the lady in fitting room was very helpful as I was in my wheelchair she let Terry in as the first changing room was for wheelchairs. I managed to change the two I bought gack & ended up getting a extra one 😁

My wheelchair isn't electric one so CU has to push me around bless him.
SANDRA lovely card again from your bit box. How's Matt doing I hope he's feeling better. I don't know if my CC are OK as in my bit box I had a few die cut toppers so I've used them.
It's late now so I will love you & leave you now.
Love Lynda xx
