Michele's Floral Friday treat!!!

Michele's

Good Morning Ladies,

Here we are at Friday once again, which means we get to see a 'Something Floral' on display.
This week's Floral Challenge card has been designed by our very own Michele!! She has used that amazing Altenew Flower stamp that was a Free gift on a magazine earlier this year. You can also download matching flower images to use with the Free Die which is what Michele has done I think, I love the summery colours that you have chosen, I can see the Spellbinder Large Decorative Labels one die in the background which is the base for that lovely wreath of flowers (albeit square)!
I am certain that the recipient of this lovely card will be over the moon when she sees it.
Thank you so much for sharing your card and for helping me out last minute. xxxx

I decided I would do my "New Catalogue" Sneak Peek video as I am excited to share some of the Lovely new goodies that are featured in the Stampin'Up! 2018 - 2019 New Catalogue.  So I recorded it at about 2:30 pm and set it to upload, thinking that two hours to upload would be about right, Danielle had advised me a while ago to record in the lowest definition, which I had done, but sadly at 9:30pm it was only 40% uploaded!!!
So that one will have to be shared next week.

I am hoping that Paul will finish early today so that we can spend sone time together, since he has stopped shifts and works Monday to Friday, we have very little time to ourselves and its frustrating. I would quite happily stay home and watch a movie, without all of our Children , continually asking for things.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend planned.

Love and hugs,

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

My card was a request from a gentleman at the last Car Boot Sale -he asked in a gruff manner if I had any 70th Birthday Card as he wanted a card for his wife. I explained that I usually make cards for special occasions to order. He didn’t answer me at first so I thought he was just going walk away but he then asked me to make something-no hint of a favourite colour etc but
His wife liked handmade items!! I was quite shocked. I just hope he likes it.

Yippee-it’s Friday. It’s going to be s busy one as we have chemotherapy to make all morning then 2 adult and a different baby requiring Parental Nutrition so that’s 9 bags to make plus both the usual pharmacists are off so I have our part time one in who is very likely to get stressed! At least I have me evening out tonight to look forward to- Bill Bailey is such a funny bloke.

  3. Morning Everyone
We had rain again for most of the day yesterday and more forecast for today. I think I'm developing webbed feet lol.

MICHELE- a lovely card and very colourful. I'm sure the gentleman liked it.

Well once again we're round to that 'swear' word day so crafting may have to take a back seat today.

The CAFE is OPEN so pop in when you can. HUGS are on their way to you all. Have a good Friday.xxxx

  4. Hi everyone,
Stunning card Michele. Bet the gentleman and his wife loved it.x
Sandra hope you're feeling a lot better today.x
Craft club today. Wendy is kindly picking me up this morning as Lynn has taken a friend to the hospital for his first injection for macular degeneration. He's so frightened bless him. Wendy usually gives me a lift home from craft as well. Don't know what I'd do without kind friends. This not being able to drive is a real pain at times.
Anyway folks enough rabbiting. Have a good day. Love Valx

  5. Morning ladies,

Lovely card Michele, I am sure the gentleman's wife loved it.

Fantastic day yesterday making the challenge card in the morning, lunch then couple of hours gardening, mainly pruning shrubs, then off to pick Tiegan up for her swimming club lesson. Rotisserie chicken and chips were a tea time treat at my son's house afterwards finished off a lovely day.

    Love 7 hugs

  6. Hi All wet and cold again here.

Michele great card, I tried to down load the print out for these dies, but just wouldn’t work on my silly lap top, love the way you have done yours.

Sandra do hope that you are feeling better today.

Had a call from my dr this morning, I’ve been having the wrong does of anticoagulant, only half of what I should have, she doesn’t know how it was changed, just as well I question it. Have to wait to see cardiologist before any thing new happens, .

Made a card today, but my camera on my iPad keeps turning the photo around, so will have to try with my phone.
Hope you are all ok, hugs to all, Lilian

  8. Hi Sandra and ladies.
Very nice card Michele. like the happy colours you have used for the roses. Have a nice dinner out tonight.
I hope you ok Sandra and will have a nice weekend and you and Paul will get some time alone.
Lilian, a bit of a mistake or what ? Hope it doesn't take too long for an appointment. Try to have a nice weekend.
Karen, so close but still too far hihi Have a good evening.
Cheryl, always such a busy lady. Glad you got things to do tho and had a nice time.
Val, hope your house is back to normal after the funeral of cockroaches.Don't think I could have cleaned them up either myself,I killed a spider yesterday, the big black kind and got my son to put it in the bin. I hate them.
Janet, hope you did something more then just the house*&"%! today hihi but if you got the weather that we got and it's gone cold again I wish we could have stayed indoors today however it was the last day of the pain clinic and after we had tea and cake. One lady is going to arrange for meet ups and I hope it will be but this have been talked about before after other groups I have been to and never happened so we just have to see. Meet up with hubby for lunch and then did the weakly shopping. Fireplace was meant to be here today but the guy was ill so hope it comes tomorrow now.
Rather quiet in the cafe' today ,hope you all just busy and you back tomorrow. Take care and many hugs to you all, Maria xxx

Michele your card is lovely, I'm sure the lady was really pleased to receive her special card. Bet the husband was in her good books.
Sandra hope Paul got home early and you both got to spend some 'special time together' it's so difficult just to have a few moments when you have a family, on the plus side it makes you appreciate any time you do get..
Hope everyone has a good day. Hugs Brenda xxx
