Good Morning Ladies,
I ordered this stamp set a while ago but it was in Back Order, it's called Tranquil Tulips (Stampin'Up!), I love Tulips but sadly they don't last very long once they open but now I can look at them all year round!
I stamped the tulip heads in 'Peekaboo Peach' and 'So Saffron',
The stems in Old Olive, the little flowers in Calypso Coral.
I thought I would add sentiment sideways for a different look.
I matted onto Peekaboo Peach card and made my card base in the same card. To finish I added a few Pastel Irredescent Sequins, for a little sparkle.
This uses categories: Yellow /Flowers/Sequins
We had another beautiful spring day here yesterday, I had a frustrating day though, I made another Magic Window Card to demonstrate on Tutorial video, then cut another two ready to assemble, I started to record, got all of base card made and I heard a beeping noise, at first I thought it was my Gemini, then I looked up to see the camera flashing 'Memory Card Full', I could have cried, it was acgoid job we are detached and I was home alone!! Obviously having just moved I couldn't find the Memory card reader to clear the card, so I ordered another from Amazon and will try again today, before Sue comes, let's hope she doesn't find me having a tantrum like a two year old like I did yesterday! Fingers crossed Ladies!! X
Val I was sorry to read that Paul is closing the restaurant, I guess it's too many memories and maybe too much work, the sad thing is keeping busy there would probably help him as he would be surrounded by friends, but I guess he knows what's best for him. I hope the new venue will work as well for you all.
Sending love and hugs to all,
Sandra-I love your card, the colours are perfect.
Yesterday was horrendous at work-I finally got my lunch at 3pm!! When I eventually got home I couldn’t face going into my craft room as I was so tired so hopefully I’ll make a start on my challenge card tonight.
Hope its a quieter day for you Michele.xDelete
How awful for you. Hope today is a lot better for you.
That’s a lovely stamp and you’ve showcased it beautifullyReplyDelete
Oh boy! I bet you turned the air really blue I know I would have done
It is sad that Paul feels he can’t open the bar again He’s in a no win situation Opening would give him familiarity and keep him busy Closing evokes too many memories After my son died I loved being on Panshanger and I hated it too for the memories
We’re off to see the Houses of Parliament this evening organised by our MP I’m not into politics but it’ll be interesting to have a look around
I hope you’re now able to relax JANET after the rotten “Hello” you received MARGARET is doing a fantastic job opening the cafe
Take care all xx
Hi Karen I think everyone handles grief in a different way but I hope Paul is making the right decision.Delete
Enjoy your trip to HOP. Would love to do that.x
I hope you enjoy your trip to the Houses of Parliament. This is the first time I’ve heard of an MP doing this. Not even seen ours at all. We always saw David Cameron when he was our MP.
That's not a good time for lunch, I bet the managers get their dinner on time. Hope yo had a good night's sleep. xxxReplyDelete

Lovely card Sandra, tulips and daffodils are flowers for me that saying spring is here.
Had a nice walk late last afternoon and it was lucky because today it is raining and my Sister-in-law and her hubby is on their way up for the day.
Have a nice day everyone and Karen and Michele ,hope your day at work are all right.
Many hugs to you all, Maria xxx
The spring flowers are one of the few things I miss over here.Delete
Enjoy your visitors.x
Morning Sandra and all,ReplyDelete
Lovely card Sandra, it shouts of spring.
Sadly the two places we looked at yesterday weren't suitable for Wendy's craft club so she's a few more ideas. In the meantime well go back to the bar we were in last Friday. Its a bit squashed but its kind of the owner to let us use it.
I'm waiting for Lynn to pick me up to take Olive to the vets. She's such a delicate little thing and I buy very expensive Sensitive biscuits just for her but she's even now being sick eating them. Well just see what the vet advises.
Have a good day everyone.
Lilian hope your feeling a lot better today.
Hi Val such a shame that Paul feels he needs to close the bar you use for your crafting. After Paul and his partner built up the business together it seems a shame to close it. It would keep him busy and it obviously hold many lovely memories for him. The friends he’s obviously made would be a comfort to him after his sad loss. Hopefully he doesn’t shut himself away now that he’s decided to close.Delete
I hope the vet manages to get to the root of the problem of why Olive keeps being sick.
Hi Sandra and ladiesReplyDelete
Lovely spring card today Sandra. Hope you manage to get the video done today.
Need to speak to the hospital next week when we go up. They’ve sent us letters cancelling appointment we didn’t know we had, and re arranging them to the dates we do know about. Weird or what. Off to Somerset on Friday for a long weekend. I didn’t know it was Easter though when I booked.
Hi Lilian. I hope your feeling a little better today. I hope you manage to get to the heart of the problem soon. Gentle hugs coming your way.ReplyDelete
I hope you’ve managed to sort the house out by now, and your able to relax.
Hello Sandra and ladies,ReplyDelete
Sandra I love your card, the tulip stamp is absolutely beautiful, and the colouring, well..... I am in total awe, it’s gorgeous. I hope you and Sue have a productive day. Yesterday must’ve been so frustrating for you, all set up and ready to go, I know how I would have felt. Comment not publishable!!!
Hope everyone’s having a good day. The day started off drizzly but now the Sun is trying to come out, you never know it might just turn out to be a pleasant afternoon. Fingers crossed.
Love and hugs to all, Brenda XXX
Our day wasn’t to bad today. A bit drizzly first thing. However, it warmed up a bit after dinner. But got windier after 4.00 o’clock when Jo came to do my feet for me.
Hi Sandra and all in the Café today. Another gorgeous Spring card for us to enjoy today. A great stamp set, I love the little details stamps that Stamping Up put in their sets, it's the little details that finish a card off. I really really love seeing Snowdrops and then the Daffs and Tulips. Like you Maria they give me such a lift as they sign of lighter, warmer (hopefully!!!) and longer days 😊ReplyDelete
I had a lovely time with Sandra. I did discover that it seems that not all glues are the same, I do also need to check how this particular glue works on different card as I had problems with it using my usual glue too for some reason! There definitely will be a "Guide to glue" in a while when tests have been completed. What glue do you all use for small detailed jobs like constructing die cut flowers?
Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for Lilian and all in need
Take care xx
Good evening Sandra & LadiesReplyDelete
Well I'm not sure what happened to my comment I did this morning it seems to have taken flight to the blog in cyber space 💫🚀
SANDRA your card is beautiful love the colour's you have used. You have raised the bar for my Challenge card will try my best.
SUE glad you enjoyed your day with Sandra. I always use cosmic shimmer dries clear most of the time. Saying that I need to buy at AP the fine line one that SW uses on delicate Die cuts.
JANET Hope everything is ok in the house now so you can both relax & enjoy your holiday. Hug's on the way.xx
MICHELE hope work was better today.xx
