Good Morning Ladies,
I hope that you are all well, it was a brighter day here, would have been good for putting washing out but we don't have a washing line, I have no idea what the previous occupant did, Paul is talking about putting a rotary line in but I don't really like them. I prefer to see a line of washing blowing in the wind, when we had a rotary in a previous house the washing on the inside didn't get dry for ages.
Today's card was one I made last July using the Stampin'Up Jar of Love stamps and matching Thinlits. I absolutely love this set, the flowers are so pretty, I particularly like the little grasses, they really fill a bouquet out.
Sadly I didn't get to see Pat yesterday as my Sciatica paid me a visit, I was awake most of the night and ended up taking different pain killers, I wasn't feeling great the evening before so didn't have dinner so taking the tablets really upset my stomach. Believe me vomitting when you have sciatica is not fun! I did feel better as the day went on thankfully.
I spent the day clearing boxes and finding places in my unit for them, needless to say I have another huge box for Sue and her girls, stuff I'm just not going to use. I have learnt to be ruthless this last few weeks. My thinking is 'If I haven't used it in the last 2/3 years then I'm not likely to use it' !!
Today's plans are to find homes for my paper flowers and pearl strings and trims. I also have to finish the Pearl anniversary card.
I hope you all have a great day,
Love and hugs,
Sandra

We have snow-again!!! It’s a complete covering and it’s still snowing now. Hope this clears so I can get to Preston station tomorrow to get the train to Glasgow-just paid for the train tickets last night!!
Michele
Hi Michele
DeleteCrikey I thought the snow had disappeared for good now, but apparently not. Hope as you say it doesn’t carry on snowing so your able to get to Preston Station tomorrow.
oops I really thought too that the winter was over but saying that, we had snow down here in May one year ! Hope Phil get help soon and he's not in too much pain. hugs to you both x
DeleteMorning Everyone
ReplyDeleteWell I really should have kept quiet about a dry day yesterday!!! Like MICHELE we have SNOW AGAIN and quite a bit of it. Everything is covered and traffic is really struggling this morning.
We should be going to our Local Dramatic production tonight but if it hasn't changed we will Not be going.
There is one thing about our weather here it certainly keeps us on our toes.
SANDRA- a very clean and pretty card. I hope you're feeling better this morning.
My job today is to send off my CC and then hopefully get one or two inserts into cards which need posting.
The CAFE is OPEN and ready for you all. HUGS are on their way to you all. If going out please take care and wrap up warm.xxxx
Hope you manage to go out today even with some snow, again, coming down. Think you are on the level with where my sister live and they have a lot of snow today ( her dogs love it and it so funny to see the pups going out for the first time on the white, cold surface ) hihi she got it posted on facebook. Hugs xx
DeleteMorning ladies,
ReplyDeleteWell the snow seemed to have missed us out. We had a tremendous lot of rain coming down so fast the guttering and downpipe just could not cope with it all which lasted well into the night. Sun is shining in a clear blue sky at the moment.
Tiegan's swim club session after school so I must find time to finish all the cards I started on Sunday ready to be sent or picked up.
Love 7 hugs
Cheryl xxx
Hope you have a nice day Cheryl and get the cards finished. hugs xx

DeleteHi Sandra and ladies
ReplyDeleteLovely card today. Great springlike colours. Glad to hear you were feeling well enough to get some more craft goodies sorted out. I wonder if the extra bits you require for your unit will arrive today. Fingers crossed they will. Should do if they were posted out on Monday.
Well I managed to speak to the hospital and his Radium has been ordered ready for Tuesday. Have you had bloods done she asked. No I said. Oh because you haven’t had an appointment she said. I said we could have come up just to have the bloods done if asked but we’re told we’d have an appointment. So, as you can go in and just take a number and wait your turn that’s what we’ll do tomorrow morning. We already have the envelope for them to be done. These bloods can only be done at the hospital apparently.
We’re off to lunch today with friends at the Toby Carvery.
Hope the appointments for Pete are now going ahead and you not get moved again. Have a lovely meal at Toby's, one of my favourite places ( should have gone there on the 5th,hihihi) hugs to you both xx
DeleteHello Sandra and everyone
ReplyDeleteLovely card today Sandra. These stamps are great and you get to decide how to arrange them, brilliant idea, especially if you know the recipient likes a certain flower. I hope you are feeling better today, although I would think you are quite exhausted after all that sickness and sciatica doesn’t disappear over night, please try and rest and keep warm. xx
I saw on the news this morning pictures of Liverpool and the Wirral covered in snow, also Janet in Sheffield has had yet another snow storm. Take care everyone at dinner try to keep warm. Michele I hope you are able to get to Preston tomorrow and make it to the funeral on time. xx
Hope everyone has a lovely day, Hugs Brenda xxx
Don’t know how dinner entered my flow there!
DeleteIt should read - Take care everyone and try to keep warm!!!

Hi Brenda, hope you and John are ok and you too wrap up warm if going out for today seem to be very windy and cold once again. hugs xx
DeleteHi Sandra and ladies from a grey and very windy and cold MK. Have been to Lidl and Waitrose this morning and had to stoop low not to be blown over, well if you believe that then you haven't seen me Hahaha anyhow your card today made me smile and I wished I had the stamp/die for the glass for the flowers because this was my idea for the cc this week which I haven't made yet, shame on me but I haven't got a vase or anything so might change the idea for now. Your card ts lovely Sandra ! .Sorry to read your sciatica is so bad again, sending you gentle hugs and hope it is better asap. Take it easy and try to rest but knowing you , you will continue today to fill your new craft station and your house with bits ,bobs and pieces.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day everyone. Will look in later to see if any new or old followers have been in to say HI. I miss you.
Love Maria xxx
Hi Maria
DeleteIt’s very windy here as well. We went to the Toby Carvery in Swindon and had a lovely meal.
Hi Sandra & everyone
ReplyDeleteSorry a lot of you have had the wite stuff again. It's been very cold & the wind is very bitter. Not been up to much had to pop Tesco post office & chemist.
Then Margaret poppet round for a while & pick her post up. She went hospital yesterday to have her stitches out of her nose. She said the surgeon said she has 5 months to think about having cosmetic surgery done to make it look more natural..
PAT glad you enjoyed your meal at Toby carvery. I like having a carvery..as you can have as much or as little as you want.
I'm really looking forward to going to Ally Pally in April & meeting Sandra & the Cotswolds Café gang it's been so long not seeing everyone.😁
Love your card SANDRA very fresh & spring like. Its gorgeous.
Love Lynda xx
Hello All, dry but cold.
ReplyDeleteVery strange day today. Had to dr re my new tablets, to have heart rate and blood pressure checked, the strange thing is they couldn’t find a pulse, or manage to find my blood pressure!!! I suppose there is a first time for everything.
Sandra love your card, this is one of my favourite sets of stamps and dies, have to stop myself picking them up all the time.
Hope the snow up north soon goes, hugs to all Lilian
Hi Sandra and all in the Café today.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bright and cheerful card for us to enjoy today. It's so nice to see your beautiful cards again 😊 I'm glad your sciatica didn't stay too long my lovely, I know how much you want your craft stash sorted so you can craft easily xx
I keep glancing over at my lovely craft area and it makes me smile every time. I have a little more to do on my CC then I will send you the photo of it.
I'm sorry to see that some of you have snow again. Its meant to get cold here over night then rain for the next week or so 😞 very different to the beautiful warm sunny spring day yesterday.
Please take care when going out, Michele, I hope you manage to get to the funeral without any delays and Pat I hope Pete gets his bloods done quickly.
See you in the morning Mum.
Love and hugs to you all with extras for Lilian and all in need. Take care xx
