Something Floral for Friday from Cheryl

Good Morning Ladies,

Our 'Something Floral' treat for this Friday has been designed and beautifully created by Our Cheryl.
Oh my goodness, it is absolutely stunning Cheryl.  Every element of the card is so beautiful, from the stunning vintage background papers to the little doilly.  The Octagonal die cut works perfectly for this design because its pattern is almost Lacey, so we can still appreciate all of the details of that background.  Cheryl has taken a delicate strip of lace and woven a piece of contrasting ribbon through it, on top of this a gorgeous spray of Wild Orchid flowers gives us our focal point, Cheryl has then added a small cameo, a few pearls in complimentary colours and a tiny Flag with the 'Just For You' sentiment on.
Cheryl I bet your daughter's jaw dropped when she saw this card, it is perfection!!
Thank you so much for sharing your card my lovely. XXX

I had the very best 'Surprise' treat yesterday afternoon, Our Margaret had a couple of hours to spare so she popped over to see me, I was so excited, I couldn't wait to show her my craft room and we sat down for a little play with Distress Oxides, I think I can safely say that like Sue, Margaret is hooked!
I bet I can guess what we will be shopping for at Ally Pally !!
I don't want to make any of you ladies jealous but I got an 'Actual' Coconut, lemon cake to eat, it tasted divine, I'm sure that your 'virtual' lemon cakes were just as nice without the calories too!
Thank you so much Margaret for popping over to see me.  I am already looking forward to the next time.  XXX

Janet I hope that you arrived safely at Marigny, I imagine you will spend a few days unpacking and dusting around everywhere.  I hope all is as you left it.  I look forward to Dobby's first delivery!
Hugs XXX

Lilian, you are missed Sweet Friend, sending love and hugs. XXX

I can hardly believe we are at the weekend again, I'm not complaining though!
I read yesterday that we may be in for a 'White Easter', has anyone else read this?  it seems hard to believe, we have been camping at Easter when the children were younger, it was chilly at night but beautiful during the day, this year we may be building Snowmen!!   Janet is it warmer over there?  have you room for a couple more, we could come and craft around the clock!!

Have a lovely day ladies,

Love and Hugs

Sandra

Cheryl-WOW!! What an absolutely beautiful, stunning card. I’m sure it will be treasured.

Another busy day yesterday then I went out for a meal last night-was originally meant to be 2 of us but it ended up as 4. Wasn’t looking forward to going as it was the Hickory Smokehouse again but I had a great evening and only got home around 10:30!!
Haven’t slept much last night so it’s a good job I’m off today. I’m going to try to find a new craft shop this morning with my crazy friend so that should be fun!!

Sandra-glad you had some craft time with Margaret yesterday, sounds like it was fun.

    1. Hi Michele
Glad you enjoyed your meal last night.
Lucky you having a new craft shop. Enjoy looking round with your crazy friend. Two of our craft shops closed 4 years ago so only have the Range & Hobbycraft now. Not brilliant.

  3. Morning all,
Well I'm back home after a few days of non stop chatting and laughing with my friend.
Lovely blue skies here but still got an icy wind. The weather is usually lovely at this time of the year so I think every countries weather is topsy turvy this year.
Lovely card Cheryl as was yours yesterday Sandra (a tutorial would be lovely please) and yours Pat on Wednesday.
Our usual venue for craft club isn't available until Paul who's partner died, decides what he's doing. Wendy has found another place for us to meet up today so is pocking me up later.
LILIAN so sorry to read of your health issues. Sending lots of hugsx
Love to all especially those not feeling so good.

  4. Hi Sandra and ladies.
Fabulous card Cheryl. Whoever receives it will treasure it forever. Or if they’ve received it already, it’s got pride of place.
How lovely that Margaret was able to pop over to see you. Of course your a lot closer now to here aren’t you. So it’s not so much of a chore.
Shhhh please don’t say the SNOW word as we’re going awY next weekend. Petes halfway thought his treatment, so it was going to be either a Congratulations you can carry on. Or a pick me up in case he couldn’t, luckily enough it was the former. So niceish weatheris on order please. Or at least not the dreaded S word.

  8. Hi all.
A gorgeous card from our Cheryl today, lovely colour. She will love the card.
Lilian- so sorry they can't find whats going on and you have to suffer like this. Sending you some hugs.
Val- nice to see you back. Hopefully the hall for crafting will be back on again soon.
Lynda- hope you and some of you other ladies had a good day crafting.
Sue- hope your migraine gone for now and won't be back for a looong time. Take care moving all the furniture around.
The heart foundation is picking up our settee and 2 armchairs next Thursday so it will have to be the garden chairs for some weeks as we still haven't found the sofa's we like, I have found the fireplace I like though Lol
Margaret- how nice you could get over to Sandra's to play. It seem like many of us will try our hands on Oxides after seeing them for a while now and I hope to play with some tomorrow at Julia's workshop, I might have to get some myself so elbows at the ready hihihi
Has been a tiring week so going to bed at a normal time for once so I wish you all a very good night and have a nice Saturday everyone. Many hugs, Maria xx
