Some Beautiful cards from Brenda

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend,  we had a cloudy day yesterday but it was still warm enough to be outside without a jumper,  we got started on sowing some seeds, mostly herbs, I love parsley and basil and use them loads so a sowed a coupke of trays of those, some coriander too but I like to only sow a few at a time as they tend to go to seed quite quickly,  we are actually using the seeds we dried from last yesrs plants,  which is a huge bonus, fingers crossed they will germinate!  We saved a few seeds last year from marigolds, nasturtium,  poppy and lavender oh and aquilegia.  We will sow some more today, I need to plant out some parsley plants we bought from the garden centre but its still going so cold at night here, they do need potting on quickly though, maybe we could pot them and bring them in at night.

Today's beautiful cards are designed by Our Brenda,  using the gorgeous Stampin Up Dainty Flowers Dsp, your designs are so pretty Brenda,  it shows off the papers beautifully,  I have bought myself a spare set of these papers as I don't want to run out!  I particularly love the card with the fold over front and the pull out greeting panel, such a clever idea.                                                                        Thank you so much for sharing your cards with us Brenda ❤️

I hope that you all have a lovely Monday

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxxx

  1. morning everyone
It's a very dull start here this morning but it's dry.
We had a very quiet week-end with the weather changing from grey/sunny/windy but no rain.

BRENDA your cards are just beautiful with colours which put a smile on my face.

I'm going to try and get into my craft room today whether I get anything done will be a different matter.
Have a good day whatever you all have planned.

HUGS on their way to you all. Take care an stay safe.

  4. Hello Sandra and Ladies,
Thank you for your lovely comments about my cards, I have to give the credit to SimplySimple (Connie Stewart) web site and of course Stampinup for the beautiful papers, the web page gave all of the measurements so it was easy to follow, the cards on the left are the off cuts of the pocket card, I reversed the paper for the green card because I liked the effect it created. They were fun to make especially when someone else has worked out all the measurements for you. xx
Janet hope you manage to get into your craft room today. xx
Karen so pleased you enjoyed your day in London, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY for today, whatever you do I’m sure you will both have a lovely day. xx
Sonia, like you we woke up to rain this morning, it has at last started to brighten up fingers crossed it will continue to be nice and dry for the rest of the day. What ever you do today enjoy xx
Sandra don’t go over doing it in the garden, I know it’s frustrating but listen to your body and rest when it starts to grown! My problem is I carry on regardless and don’t hear what my body is telling me, it’s only when I stop that I feel all the aches. My friend says I should time myself, half an hour then rest! Even though we has a large clock in the garden I’m usually so busy that I forget to look at it πŸ˜‚
Hope you are all having a good day, Hugs Brenda xxx

  5. Hi Sandra and all looking in.
Brenda, your cards are gorgeous. The papers are so pretty and you have used them beautifully. “Listen to your body…..” we are good at telling others to do that but not so good at listening to ours are we 😏 xx
Sandra, I hope you don’t have the same wet and windy we have here today. Definitely not a gardening day! Glad you manage to get some done yesterday though xx
Karen, it sounds like you had a lovely weekend. Interesting about the wax seals I suppose they would break as they go through the sorting machines that are used these days. Gone are the hand sorted mail days. Enjoy whatever you both do on this special day xx
Have a nice evening whatever you are all up to. Take care xx

  6. Hi everyone
Wonderful cards by our Brenda. I love the colours on th papers used and the shapes.
Listening to our body, what is that . Ohhh yes we do tell others but never do it ourselves. If I'm starting something I want to have it done and rarely have a break. We now have got a gardener in tho to do the first dig over and hopefully I can maintain it later on myself.
Karen, glad you enjoyed the show and have a great day today. Enjoy the take away or whatever you do. We had a great time with the in laws yesterday and her husband had made a fabulous Sunday roast beef. I never made one, always boiling the beef. This morning we went to Frost but the cue was so long that we missed from the breakfast menu and ended up with lunch. No cooking tonight needed, still full. Might just have the scone we bought home later on.
Sending many hugs to you all, have a good evening πŸ˜ŠπŸ€— xxx
