Another frosty morning yesterday, a gloriously sunny day though, its so nice to have all the windows open and have the fresh air through the house!
I had such a lovely day yesterday, Sonia came over, it was touch and go on Monday whether she would make it, I had everything crossed!! We had lovely day, talked nonstop (obviously) then we had some lunch, after that we got down to some crafting, taking a break for another cuppa and a delicious cake (thank you for the selection, the girls said thank you too) we were mostly playing with our Spellbinders foil plates, we die manage some perfect pieces, Sonia did some incredible foiling onto Kraft card. Sadly all too soon it was time for her to leave ๐ช. The time absolutely flew by! But thank you so much my lovely for driving over, I really do appreciate it and loved every minute ❤️.
Today's card was a quick one, I made it after Sonia left.
I used a piece of dsp and Crumb cake card to cut a rectangular, I then die cut the letters of happy out of the different shades of green that feature in that dsp. I added some coordinating ribbon to place the sentiment on. A real quicky that fits the Challenge.
Janet I hope you had more success on the phone today, I also hope you got to go to K & N XXX
Sending love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxxxxx
morning Everyone
ReplyDeleteYesterday was one of those days I don't want to replay.
I could only leave a message at the hospital dept in the morning they did ring back late afternoon but were unable to give me the results and I have to ring again this morning. I didn't get to K&N as I had an angina attack which put me off my feet for the rest of the day.
I'm hoping for a better day today.
HUGS on their way to you all. Please take care and stay safe.xxxx

DeleteHi everyone
ReplyDeleteGreat card Sandra. Like the colour ๐
Went out with OH for his hospital appointment this morning so then we ended up having brunch out. Isn't fun to getting older, all these people you get to know, well they are meant to know everything about you but sometimes I wonder if they even have looked on the screen before you arrive at least one hour late because they are running late. My dad went to see his diabetic nurse. He got booked in, went and sat down. After a hour he went to check for her because she didn't call him, the answer was...oh dear, she's not here today, she's I'll. Well if I know my dad, they got a n earful.
Sorry babbling away here....
I wish everyone a good night, better night. Many hugs to you all, ๐ค xxx
Hi Sandra and all looking in.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that you and Sonia got to spend the day together. And I love the quick card you made. Adding that bit of gauze type strip behind the ribbon makes a more masculine finishing touch than ribbon alone. I always seem to end up using some sort of twine on men’s cards so I will try and remember this look xx
Sonia, now you have driven to Sandra’s once I hope if you are like me you will be able to relax and do the journey much more often. It’s always so much better crafting with your friends isn’t it ๐ฅฐxx
Brenda, I have been thinking of you and hope you are gone safe snd sound today xx
Maria, how rude that your Dad wasn’t told of the cancelled appointment! Hope you are feeling a bit better than you have lately xx
I’m wishing you all a goodnight and hope you wake up feeling refreshed in the morning. If only that were to be the case!
Sending hugs to you all. Take carexx
Hi, so cold again.
ReplyDeleteSandra love your card today. Not crafting at the moment, seem to have lost all my mojo .
Big hugs to all, Lilian.
