I can't remember the name of this die but it's one you gave me
and it is by Sue W.
I have used it here for one Birthday in pink and orange card with some
small flowers and new leaf die by JL and one Christmas in silver and red
with a little snowy village.
Maria your cards are a perfect example of getting the most out of one Die set, that woven background looks amazing, I know it's time consuming to weave but look how amazing those backgrounds look.

Hi again. This weeks challenge cards are simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSandra, you gave me such inspiration with those stunning cards. I hope you and Paul are feeling better today. And can you ignore any jobs and just relax with each other again today. The leaves in the garden aren’t going anywhere, unfortunately! Xx
Karen, what a difference you have between both of your beautiful cards. Using embossing folders on the white card is a great idea and completely changes the look xx
Lilian, Wow, both of your cards are stunning. So different, I just love everything about them both. I hope you had a reasonable night xx
Maria, what beautiful cards. You have so much patience weaving those backgrounds but so worth it when you use them on these wonderful cards. I hope you are feeling a bit better xx
Janet, sorry your body decided to stop you joining in this week. Hopefully you are not in so much pain now xx
Brenda, I hope you are getting lots of rest. Don’t fight it. You will be back crafty lots before you know it xx
Sonia, enjoy your days off. Will you be doing anything nice or just the usual boring day to day housework etc.? Xx
I’m thinking of you all. Roz and the girls here for a couple of hours today after I finish the last of the ironing, until it all starts again tomorrow when the first wash of the week goes on 😏 I’m thinking of you all and sending hugs. Take care xx
Good morning on this very soggy day!
ReplyDeleteI hope you aren’t feeling too rough today It’s a definite R&R day for you young lady! But at least it’s out of the way for this winter
Your cards are amazing ladies I don’t think you realise how much these challenges help my mental health When I go to bed nowadays I try to think of ways of doing a challenge instead of churning over the stresses and worries of the world etc
OH is at Chelsea today So if it lightens up (it’s so dark and dingy at the moment) I will definitely be crafting
Morning everyone.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards on show in the café this morning. Liked doing this challenge, it made you look different at the stamps and dies that you got and I hadn't u ng sed mine for ages.
Take care everyone and have a restful day. Healing and warm hugs are being sent to you all xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards today, I love them all ☺️
Have had a restful day today, even went back to bed late morning, after getting up at 5am to take James to work! I’m hoping to do some crafting over the next couple of days, as well as the usual housework.
I hope you’ve all had a good day
Sending hugs to you all xxx
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteHope you are both feeling better today. I was advised by my oncologist not to have flu and Covid vaccination at the same time leave a couple of weeks between.
Love all of your challenge cards ladies, thank you for sharing each one is so inspiring.
Yesterday was a family day spent in Essex, it’s middle grandsons birthday today, but he had plans for today so we celebrated a day early. His younger brother came home from university to be with the family. Youngest daughter picked us up to save either of us driving, then another lovely surprise granddaughter had come down from Leeds University to celebrate, it was a really lovely day although very tiring, I tried to stay awake but by late afternoon I had to give in and had a nap. So today has been a chill out day!!
Hope your day has been good whatever you were doing.
Have a good week, love Brenda xx
