My last Challenge card for this week

Good Morning Ladies,

Good Morning from wet & wild Wiltshire,  boy did we have a mixed bag of weather yesterday and so far this morning, we had really heavy bursts of rain and very strong gusty wind, Paul had raked and swept all the leaves last weekend but looking out there today you would never know, this strong wind and heavy rain has stripped every last leaf from the many trees in our garden a loads of little branches,  it looks so messy!  Another job for the weekend for Paul, that will keep him busy ! 🤣😂

Our new Simba Mattress, Duvet and pillows felt AMAZING on night one, there was a bit of a chemical smell but I guess thats the 'new' smell, now I usually have at least 3 pillows, I just tried using the new one on its own and it was fine, the duvet with it's 'Astronaut' technology 🤣 is really lightweight which at first worried me with my freezing cold feet, however it was perfect,  lovely and warm,  you can flip it and the pillow over when you want it tobe cooler in the summer.  The huge bonus for me is fact that it's so much lighter,  the old duvet was heavy and painful on my legs  Paul would have to put his knees up to lift it if I needed to turn over.  So so far so good !

Today's cards are all made using the 'Encircled in Beauty' dies.  The first card is made I made with 'Soft Succulent' card and ink, the patterned paper was from an older paper pack called Harvest Meadow, it matches perfectly.

The other cards are both Christmas cards, the first is an aperture card, both of these cards look lovely in grey, silver & white.

I hope that you all have a fantastic Thursday,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  4. Hi everyone

Glad to hear the new mattress was comfortable and the duvet too.
Janet, sending hugs, hope the pain eases soon xx
I’ve not done any crafting for a while, seem to have lost my mojo! Not sure when it will return 🙁 Think it might be because I’ve been busy at work and just want to sit and rest when I get home!
Hope you’re all having a good day
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  5. Hi, two beautiful cards today, thank both of them are gorgeous.
Glad the new bedding is a hit, hope it keeps up. I always have three pillows to help with my breathing.

Janet sorry to hear your hands are bad, mine are like that, the doctor told me to use ibuprofen gel, doesn’t help much, but better than nothing.

Have finished one card , and just started the second one, had trouble with the embossing powders, had to give up on creative expressions one which just went flat.

Hope you are all ok , hugs to all, Lilian

  6. Hi ladies
    Lovely card Sandra.
Sorry your hand is sore Janet, wish you better.
I hope you all had a nice day and managed to do what you liked to.
I had a day at the NEC today. It was good but I am totally knackers.
Got some stamps and dies today but they were often laying in some kind of bins so was not easy to look through. Sewing ,Felting and knitting seem to be in big increase. Never got the chance to go into the exhibition with cakes, perhaps next time. Ally Pally next spring is already in my calendar. Who is joining me ?
Time for bed ( seeing friends for breakfast tomorrow at Frost) so I wish you all a good night and sending big hugs to you all xxx
