TicTacToe Challenge card 2

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are well,  did you all get some rain yesterday? The heavens opened here in the afternoon,  I wouldn't be surprised if there were floods tomorrow!! We always have weather in extremes!! Too hot, too wet,  too windy !!! 🤣

Sue came over yesterday morning for a Cuppa and a catch up, it was so lovely to sit and chat, the time just flew by though and Sue's time is precious at the moment, hopefully we can do the same next week.

Today's card Categories: clean & simple/ Sparkle/ tag
I really love this 'Boho Indigo' collection,  the other cards I have made have all been blue/ cream, so this time I thought I would go Green/Cream picking up the gold from the leaves to give sparkle/shine.
I die cut the vase in Garden Green and popped a tiny piece of Gold behind the little cut out detail at the top. I added the vase lifted on a foam square to a stitched label tag, I then placed some of the die cut leaves with a little gold branch to pick out the gold again, I matted this onto a really narrow piece  of gold mirror card.
I used a Very Vanilla card base with a mat of Garden Green and then an embossed piece of Very Vanilla card, to finish the card I placed my vase focal piece onto the card base and then added the 'thank you' stamp onto the tag and popped it under the vase.
I do love a clean and simple card, I hope you do too.

I hope that you aren't getting too much rain in your area,

Sending love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  1. Morning Everyone
What a beautiful card SANDRA. So simple but soooo effective. Such a classy design.

We are off for Jim's last Opticians appointment this morning and if all is well he can choose some new frames for his new prescription and that will be the end of cateracts. The only problem will be he can never make his mind up as to what sort of frame/colour etc etc. Ah well the coffee shop is just outside the shop lol.
I then need to get this week's Tesco order put in when we get back.

The CAFE is OPEN ready and waiting for you all.HUGS ARE WINGING THEIR WAY TO YOU ALL.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  4. Hello Sandra and ladies,

I love today’s CAS card it looks so fresh and clean. It would be fitting for almost any occasion. I think it would look lovely framed.

What a lovely treat for both you and Sue to be able to sit and enjoy a cuppa together, I’m sure it was a great tonic for you both, it must be ages since you were able to meet up.

JANET did Jim decide on his new frames? Hope you got out of the shop before lunchtime.

This morning we went to do the supermarket shopping, Tesco on the corner of our road were open for fuel, I was driving and decided to fight my way through the queuing traffic. Had to go on the wrong side of the road to turn right but got through.
When we returned home we avoided the most direct route and all the traffic queues, certainly a wise choice.

Hope you have all had a good day, the weather here has been very changeable sun then showers most of the day. Don’t think the forecast for the next few days is much better.

Take care everyone and stay safe. Hugs Brenda xxx

Sandra love your clean and simple card, hope to start mine tomorrow, my new Lavinia stamps came today, want to do one that Jo Rice did on Utube.

Time for bed for me, our guest has gone home, feeling exhausted, not used to entertaining other than family.
