Your Next Challenge

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

Atleast I think its Friday, yesterday however was a different story.  I sat down and put together a long post, that shares 'Throwback' cards from all of you, it took me the best part of a couple of hours, it was fun looking back at our cards from 5 or so years ago, I went to set the date for 'Throwback THURSDAY' only to discover that today was 'Friday' !! Or 'Forgetful Friday' as it will be known (thanks Michele) x

So instead of wasting my afternoon's work, I have scheduled that post for Saturday.  I then had to come up with a Challenge on the spare of the moment,  so I went for our old favourite, The TicTacToe challenge.

I have chosen a very different grid to our usual ones, but it still has lots of choice, the oddest category for me is 'Tropical' but I guess if you have Palm trees and Flamingos your half way there.   We all love a bit of 'Distress ' so that category appeals to me, the Watercolour background too, we could use Distress Inks mixed with water too, don't just thibk think about actual Watercolour pencils or paints .

I am looking forward to seeing what you all design.

I hope that you all enjoy your Friday,

Lynda I hope your appointment goes well, Brenda I also hope that you and John feel ok after your second vaccination, sending love to you both XXX

Sending Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra                                                                                xxxxxx

  2. Morning Everyone
A good Challenge for next week. Thinking cap will definitely have to be found.

The days just merge into each other until I cross off on the calendar. If I didn't have a large one on the back of the kitchen door heaven only knows where I'd be.

Well as it is that 'swear' word day I'd better get a wriggle on and make a start. It's also Mr Tesco delivery day too so it will be 'coffee/start to clean/coffee/carry on etc etc.

The CAFE is OPEN so pop in when you can.HUGS are winging their way to you all.
BRENDA and JOHN hope all goes well with your second injections.
    TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  4. Hi everyone
Love the challenge for next week, some great categories on there.
Looking forward to seeing all the throwback cards tomorrow.
I’m still struggling with crafting, I didn’t even bother yesterday 😔 but I will try today. I may have to replicate an older card.
Dry and bright here at the moment, but rain forecast for later today and the weekend. It was nice while the dry weather lasted.
Have a good day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx

  5. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today. A lovely card yesterday, beautify colours and it’s always nice to see a different fold which I usually forget to even think about. I can imagine how you felt after spending so long on the old cards for the blog. Bank holidays and lockdown completely throw me too. Thank you in advance for setting them all up, I’m really looking forward to seeing them all tomorrow though xx
Brenda, I’m glad you managed to plough through the errors made by the person at your first jab and I hope both you and John don’t suffer any side effects from the second jab xx
Janet, I have to look at my phone several times a day to remind myself what day it is too xx
I went to Mum and Pops yesterday and Mum sends her love to you all and hopes you are all as well as possible. While I was there Pop suddenly realised that the clock he looks at mostly hadn’t been turned forward! He was actually relieved and saw the funny side of it as he just couldn’t work out why he was running late all of the time. Mum and I didn’t laugh.....much 😂😂😂
Stay dug and warm again if you can. Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for Lynda, Mum ad all in need. Take care xx

  7. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Lots of choices for next weeks challenge. Will concentrate on them when I have completed this weeks challenge, it’s still work in progress, I have changed my mind a couple of times re. Dies, colours must seriously get my head around it, but it won’t be until the morning now. We spent the afternoon in the garden and greenhouse so should sleep well tonight.

Thank you everyone for your lovely thoughts about our second Covid. Neither of us have had any side effects 🤞 the only thing we feel is a slight ache where the needle went in. But to be honest I never even felt it going in.

Time to check how our dinner is coming along, enjoy your evening ladies.
    Take care and stay safe.
    Love Brenda xxx
