Good Morning Ladies,
I hope that you are all well and enjoying the sunshine, I didn't get outside yesterday, I was awake the whole night Sunday into Monday, didn't get 5 minutes, so I felt kind of 'spaced out' yesterday, I can't think of another way of describing it, my tinnitus was really bad (which it usually is if I am tired or unwell), I had Craft telly on most of the day on my laptop just to have a background noise to drown out the high pitch noise in my ears. I thought that I would have slept like a log after being in garden all afternoon but no! Fingers crossed for a better one tonight.!!
Today's card is my first 'Sue Wilson ' Challenge card, now I will warn any of you that hasn't started yet that deciding which dies to use takes as long if not longer than designing the card. I decided to use 'Nasturtium Cluster' as it is one of the SW stamps that I bought and never use (I have a few) trouble is I can't remember what inspired me to buy them now!! 🙄
I used Very Vanilla, Island Indigo & Coastal Cabana Stampin Up card for this card, I think that the combination works really well, the Diamond in the centre is Phil Martin's Charmed Diamonds, the sentiment is from Tasteful Touches SU stamp set.
I hope you like this design, I was pleased with how it turned out.
Hopefully we will all get some more sunshine today and I will feel more able to enjoy it.
Sending love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxxxxx
Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteSandra- what a gorgeous card, I love the colour. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night.
I had a lovely day off yesterday-my shopping trip wasn’t very productive & it was far too busy to be enjoyable walking round so I gave up. My blood donation was fine (booked my next one for August) then I sat outside at home reading as it was lovely & peaceful in the sun.
Michele
Well done MICHELE I wish I could donate blood but being Type1 diabetic I am not allowed I’m almost envious! OH does donate but really struggles to get an appointment either online or over the phone
DeleteCongratulations on your 80th time of giving blood Michele.
DeleteIt’s a beautiful card SANDRA I know exactly what you mean about choosing what to use I must say that 99% of the time I concentrate on ideas before I go to sleep and it really helps me drop off So I do have an idea for crafting later!
ReplyDeleteWe had fun looking after our grandson yesterday afternoon His school had an inset day
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the pretty dies and colour combo.
Have to agree with you too about deciding which dies to use. I didn’t realise I had as many as I have!
I hope you had a better nights sleep last night.
Have a good day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
Hi Sandra & ladies
ReplyDeleteA lovely designed card today Sandra. Love the colours. Like you all we had a lovely day here yesterday and it looks like today will be another nice day. It was lovely to get a haircut yesterday as well.
I haven’t ventured into any shops yet. I might have a walk around the town on Friday as I’m having my eyes tested. Might not be venturing into any though. Amy said there was a new restaurant opened in the shopping centre. She’d met a friend there for dinner early evening yesterday.
Take care and stay safe everyone.
Hi Sandra and all in the cafe'
ReplyDeleteLove the card Sandra and yes, agree that which die to use has been a bit tricky and with me anything can happen between now and Saturday :)
Shame I didn't now you were awake, I woke at 4.30 and got downstairs and just watched things on planner.
I didn't sit long out in the sun yesterday but I got burned on my chest and shoulders, stupid I know, must put cream on!
Congrats Michele for your 80th blood donation.
Karen, must have been fun to have Oscar around yesterday. Two doors away the grandparents have 3 of their grand- children living with them and it sound like a lot of fun at times but also fights and screams between big brother and little sister:)
Have a good day everyone and hugs are winging it's way to you all with extras for anyone who need some xx
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteLove your card today the colours work really well together. I’m with you on picking a SW die to use for the challenge, decisions - decisions think I’ve decided then dive deeper into the collection, talk about confused . com !!!
It’s been another sunny day today, unfortunately I just haven’t got the energy to tackle outside jobs. Like you Sandra I had a bad night, but not on the scale of yours, you must be feeling exhausted today. I hope the tetanus has gone, or is it something that you have to live with?
Have a good evening everyone, love Brenda xxx
