I always like to think that you have much more time to craft when you are out there, thank you so much for taking part each week Janet, have a safe journey my lovely xxx

Jean, a very pretty card from you this week, I love those stamped flowers, its surprising how much difference adding the stamping to the die cuts makes, it almost brings them to life.  Don't you just love those flourishes too, I have a few of those Becca Feekin spellbinders as I just love the design, she has just bought out Somme new ones I believe.  Thank you so much for making time to take part each week Jean xxx

Lynda, love the colour of your card, the pearl strip just sets of the border and the gorgeous little butterflies add just the right amount of embellishment, I do hope that you are starting to feel better,
you only need to look in that gorgeous boy's eyes to bring a smile to your face, thank you for taking part in the challenge and for cheering us up with that gorgeous photo of a very cheeky looking Harry xxx

Maria, lovely girly image on your card this week, can't go wrong with bags and shoes!  That side border works really well as does your beautiful flower, the perfect finishing touch for your tag, thank you for taking part each week, I really do appreciate it xxx

Margaret, amazing Anna Marie design papers are always a winner for me, love your design, stamped perfectly too! I do like that sentiment stamp, thank you for taking part each week xxx

Your Easter bunny is just too cute, have you noticed that some of them look scarey,

Thank you for taking time to make a challenge card each week, I know its hard sometimes after a long day at work. Xxx

for your focal element.  Your bow is very cute too, finished with one of your signature flowers xxx

Tri-fold Star card

Tri-fold Star Card

Inside of card

Good Morning ladies,

I fancied creating a different style of card for today's card, after a quick browse on pinterest I decided on the Tri fold star card, it has an unusual look, I really like the shape and dimension,  you new a 12 x 12 piece of card or 30 x 30 centimetres, or you can use the size A3.
I used decorative paper that was double sided to make this card, you can use a plain piece of card and decorate the layers and sections.
I added some cream lace and some pretty peachy pink pearl string, I then added some little roses in complimentary colour and a tiny bit of foliage, some pinflair glue gel to stick the flowers on too!
The inside is just decorated with the same flowers but smaller and the sentiment is one of Sue's oval sentiment dies.

What do you think ladies ??  Would you like me to do a quick tutorial on how to make this card design? I would be happy to if you want! Just let me know below.

Have a good day ladies,
Hugs

Something a little different today

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all OK, there seems so many of you missing right now xx

Today's card evolved from my Create and Craft voucher purchase arrived, I ordered a whole pack of different Kraft cards from Kanban, it seems really good quality too, I haven't had anything from them for years, since they last went out of business actually.
Anyway I took a piece of Kraft card and die cut some ribbon banners from a My Minds Eye 6 x 6 pad, I have quite a few they are one of my favourites!!
I stamped one of the Creative expressions 'Happy Birthday' sentiment stamps with coffee ink in the bottom corner, added some hemp string and a Spellbinders Butterfly.
Hope you like it.

Have a good day
Love and hugs

Monday Sketch Challenge

The Sketch

My Sketch Challenge Card

Good Morning Ladies,

Its that time of the week again, these Mondays roll round so fast!

I did think that this was a really easy Sketch until it came to making my card!
Not really, haha, it took a bit of thinking but that's why its called a 'challenge',
Some of the sketch look like our everyday cards, others are a little more involved.  Today's sketch is 'middle of the road' as far as difficulty goes.
I think it just makes you look differently at the cards you make, for instance I went through a stage of using nothing but  8 x 8 cards, now I try and chose a different base, the only trouble with that is it takes even longer to decide what I am going  to do.
I hope that you are all still enjoying the challenges, it looks as though you are if your fabulous challenge entries are anything to go by, I absolutely love getting your Emails with your challenge cards attached, it makes it all so worth while.

This weeks card I made using Anna Marie patterned card, layered with White card to make the base and layers, I used Sue Wilsons Australian Collection Melbourne Die to make the circular focal element, I also used the Scandinavian Collection Border die to add interest to the side panel, both of these dies are made by Creative Expressions.  I added complimentary coloured pearls down the border, around the Melbourne die and in the corners of the card to add thee finishing touches.  I was going to add a bow and some flowers but time ran out, I think it looks fine without!

I look forward to seeing what designs you all come up with, will any of you beat Hazel to be first past the post with your challenge card?!

What did you all do yesterday?! We had a quiet day I ended up suffering a bit as I had a little stumble at 4 in the morning after I got up to see what was wrong  Milo and Bella, so I was a bit stiff and sore, I was moving about well enough by the afternoon, it was lovely to have everyone home for a lovely roast dinner, cooked by Paul, perfect Mother's day treat for me, I love having everyone together.
I am looking for some Doilies, cotton (not paper), so we might go to look at a local Antique centre today to see if they have any a reasonable prices, I looked on line and some people are charging a fortune, I just want some to use with my 'Altering' projects, if any of you know of any please let me know. Xx

I am off now as Paul has bought me a lovely cup of tea.
I will catch up with you all later,
Love and hugs
