Good Morning Ladies,
I can't believe its Thursday already, the girls days off have been all over the place this week, so I have lost track of whether its Tuesday or Saturday! Soph is off today and we are planning on making some bread, she started a Sourdough starter early last week and its been very active and is raring to go! She has a long list of things she wants to make, bread, Bagels, pretzels just for starters! Have any of you made Sourdough bread ?? I love when tje girls or Matt are really enthusiastic about things, you can't help but be excited with them.
Today's Thrinchie is the matching pair to yesterday's, in that is made using the same colours, Wilted Violet & Cracked Pistachio. I didn't have the stamps used in the original so I had to improvise, it adds to the fun though and gets you using all of your stamps.
I haven't stuck the Thrinchies to the black mat which is why it looks like they aren't aligned properly. The idea of having a 'matching ' oe similar looking pair is because they will be on facing pages in a book, so having them matching in some way is pleasing to the eye.
In making these littke squares of artwork you are creating little pieces of inspiration, whether its for the colour combination or the techniques used or the combination of stamps. They are fun little pieces to create, some, like today's are quite quick to make, other's like yesterday's have lots of layers and take longer.
I hope that some of you have a go at making some of these or the Snippets, I think you'll enjoy them and it may just boost your mojo !
Have a great Thursday my lovelies,
Love & hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx

Cold a bit worse today, so haven’t drones much today.

Sandra how did the bread making go? I love sour dough bread, never tried making it though.
Have a good evening all, Lilian
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteGorgeous thrinchies and like the others I like the colours. I have tried but it will be my own version as I haven't got the stamps or the words. Hoping that is alright.
How did the bread taste ? You making me packish here 🤭😄
Karen, hope you had a great last day. Sounds like you had a fun time. Did you do the Segway ?
Lilian, so sorry that your legs are so painful, Try giving them a massage and see if that helps a bit. Or get R to do it for you..
I haven't crafted anything today because we went out this morning and then I have been in contact with my sister who had her operation. It all seems to have gone well and she was in good spirit. Now it's the waiting what's going to happen next.
I'm sending many hugs to you all, 🤗 xxx
Hi Sandra and all looking in. Lovely Thrinchie again.
ReplyDeleteI do have a question. What is the difference between Thrinchies and Snippets?
I bet you all enjoyed eating Sophs sourdough bread and I hope she enjoyed making it. Phoebe and I tried making pretzels a couple of years ago but missed one of the steps in the recipe so they weren’t very good, but still edible 🤭
Hope you all had a good day.
Karen it sounds like you had a great time xx
Take care. Love Sue xx
