Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,
Well we had another wet and chilly day yesterday, the girls and I popped to Coop in Bourton and it took me a good couple of hours to warm up! I was sat at my desk chuckling to myself as the girls had bought each other candle making kits that included the clay to make the candle holder, they both decided to make a cowboy boot, listening to them overcome many disasters, they were crying with laughter at one point!
I sat and made a couple more Thrinchies, I think I will go between Thrinchie & Snippets just to get some different techniques in.
This is one of a pair of Thrinchie, the colour is what links them, both are made with Cracked Pistachio and Wilted violet Distress Oxide inks, on this one I blended the inks through the Bird Stencil, keeping the Wilted Violet to the edges. When it was almost dry I went in and added some background stamping, mostly in Cracked Pistachio, a little in Wilted Violet at the front of the bird, I stamped the flower in Black and the 'Fearless ' sentiment too. The finishing touches are White ink splats and adding to a black mat. I will share its partner tomorrow!
Have a lovely Wednesday,
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx
Another gorgeous Thrinchie I love the colour combo It is a great way of doing new techniques I like having a record of them but they can also easily be turned into a card It is a lovely way of having little motivational sentiments to remind ourselves that we are Fearless etc
ReplyDeleteI would have loved watching/listening to the girls doing their candle kits
Just getting ready for breakfast and then hope to have a laugh at trying to play version of bowls
Take care everyone xx

Hi Sandra and all looking in. I love the colour combo of this Thrinchie. It’s interesting to see how very different stamps look in different colours. I’ve started looking at Thrinchies ideas on Pinterest etc. I am hoping to have a go at my first one later on after I have finished Chris jnr’s card.
ReplyDeleteHave s as good afternoon. Take care. Love Sue xx
